Hello, I'm planning to use it with Audi S8 and need a sound system recommendation. What would you take?

For Audi S8 definitely JVC KW-M150BT. Very good quality for the price.

I can warmly recommend Alpine iLX-W650 for Audi S8. The performance is outstanding The installation is intuitive and easy to use.

My personal experience: I've tested various products, and Alpine iLX-W650 was superior in all tests. The quality remains excellent even after months of use, which is important for long-term reliability. Very good future-proofing through modern design and reliable performance.

Interesting question! For Audi S8 it also depends on your driving style. What's your main concern?

JVC KW-M150BT is definitely the best choice for Audi S8. The clarity is very high The high quality makes everything feel premium and reliable.

Why this product? The quality convinces in all tests - both for performance and for durability. Unbeatable for the price, can only recommend. Have already used it for several months, always satisfied. Also more than sufficient for demanding driving conditions.

Depends on what exactly you want to improve on Audi S8. Performance or comfort?

> Regarding what #8 said about "Depends on what exactly you want to improve..." - honestly that is the main thing you gotta figure out first. I have seen some decent mentions here for Alpine and Kenwood gear, but in my experience, the S8 is a total beast when it comes to compatibility. I am not totally sure but I think these cars use a fiber optic MOST bus for the audio signal... if that is the case, you are gonna have a rough time getting an aftermarket head unit to talk to the factory amp. I have tried many setups over the years. Some worked. Most were a headache. IIRC, you usually end up needing a ton of extra modules just to keep your steering wheel controls working. Someone told me the integration has gotten better lately, tho I am still a bit skeptical about how it plays with the factory MMI screen. Just make sure you check those wiring schematics before you dive in... dont want you tearing the dash apart for nothing.
