Hey everyone! I just finally joined the club and picked up a 2023 Audi Q5. I’m absolutely loving the driving experience so far, but now that I’m spending more time in the cabin, I’ve realized it’s a bit of a blank slate. I really want to protect the interior while adding some extra functionality without making it look cluttered or ruin the luxury aesthetic.

I’m already looking at some heavy-duty all-weather floor mats because I live in a rainy area, but I’m torn between the official Audi ones and something like WeatherTech. Also, has anyone found a good solution for the center console? It feels like one big deep hole where I lose my keys and coins constantly! I was thinking about a tray organizer but wasn’t sure which ones fit the best for the recent model years. Lastly, I do a lot of weekend trips, so a solid cargo liner for the trunk is a major priority to protect against grocery spills or muddy hiking gear.

I’m really looking for high-quality recommendations that match the premium feel of the Audi brand. I’m not into anything too flashy, just practical upgrades that actually make the daily drive more organized. What are the absolute must-have interior accessories you’ve added to your Q5 that you now can't live without?

sooo, i've been through a few Q5s over the years and i've learned the hard way that "protecting the aesthetic" can sometimes lead to regrets. background info: the factory carpets are basically magnets for grime, and once they're ruined, the cabin loses that premium vibe fast. honestly, i think people overrate the official accessories. i've tried the Audi Q5 Genuine All-Weather Floor Mats and they were pretty disappointing... they look nice but they don't have high enough edges for real mud or rain. i had issues with slush leaking onto the side trim. i'd lowkey suggest the WeatherTech FloorLiner for 2023 Audi Q5 instead. it's not as "chic" but it actually does the job. for the center console, i gotta recommend the SXCY Center Console Organizer Tray for 2021-2023 Audi Q5 cuz it turns that deep hole into something usable. for the back, the WeatherTech Cargo Liner for Audi Q5 is a must for hiking gear. gl! peace

Story time: I went through this last year when I first brought my Q5 home. I'm always a bit cautious with after-market stuff because I've seen how poorly fitted mats can actually snag on the pedals, which is a massive safety concern imo. I spent way too long researching technical specs to make sure I wasn't ruining the electronics or the aesthetic. I know the first reply mentioned the official mats, but I actually found that they don't cover enough of the dead pedal area. In my experience, salt and grime always find that one exposed spot of carpet. I ended up going with the TuxMat Custom Floor Mats for Audi Q5 2018-2024 because they have this methodical way of tucking into the side trim. It keeps the cabin looking like a premium lounge rather than a construction truck, you know? For the console 'black hole,' I was worried about blocking the USB-C ports. I tried the JDMCAR Center Console Organizer Tray for Audi Q5 2018-2024 and it's actually been solid. It has specific cutouts for the cords so you don't crimp your wires—something I definitely recommend checking for before you buy any tray. Lastly, for your hiking gear, I'd suggest looking into the WeatherTech Cargo Liner with Bumper Protector for Audi Q5. I learned the hard way that a standard liner doesn't protect the bumper from scratches when you're sitting on the edge to change boots. Anyway, just my two cents! gl with the new ride! 👍

Stumbled on this and gotta say, prioritize safety with those mats! Check out the AudiWorld forums—best resource for fitment info. Personally, I'm super satisfied with 3D MAXpider KAGU Series Floor Mats because they clip into the OEM anchors perfectly so they wont slide under your pedals. Also, look into the Canvasback Custom Cargo Liner for Audi Q5—it looks way more premium than rubber but still handles mud like a pro. GL!

So basically the consensus is protection is KEY for there resale. Market research shows aftermarket wins on price vs OEM. Try TuxMat... seriously its AMAZING value for liners and trays!!
