I recently picked up a 2022 Audi A3, and while I absolutely love the driving experience and the sleek cabin design, I’m struggling a bit with the actual storage space. The center console feels a bit shallow, and the glovebox fills up way faster than I expected! I’m someone who likes to keep things tidy—I usually carry a mix of charging cables, sunglasses, hand sanitizer, and those inevitable loose coins—but right now, everything is just sliding around in the door bins.
I’ve been looking at some aftermarket center console trays and maybe some seat gap fillers, but I’m worried about getting something that looks cheap or doesn't fit the Audi aesthetic. I really want to maintain that premium feel without having clutter everywhere. Does anyone have specific recommendations for organizers that fit the A3 perfectly? I’m particularly interested in a better solution for the armrest storage and maybe something for the trunk to keep my gym bag from sliding around.
What are the must-have interior organizers you’ve found that actually fit the dimensions of the A3 well and don't rattle while driving?
Hey, congrats on the new ride! I totally feel u on the storage thing—it's like Audi designed the cabin to look amazing but forgot we actually carry stuff lol.
For my 2022, I basically HAD to get the SHAOHAO 2022 2023 Audi A3 S3 8Y Center Console Organizer Tray. It fits perfectly and actually gives you a spot for coins and your phone without everything sliding around in that deep hole. Also, for the trunk, get some Fortem Car Trunk Organizer with Straps—it's literally a lifesaver for gym bags. tbh it makes a HUGE difference. gl!
Respectfully, I'd consider another option besides those seat gap fillers. In my experience over the years, those can actually be a bit of a safety hazard if they interfere with the seatbelt buckle or the seat sensors, and honestly, they usually look kinda cheap in a premium cabin like the A3.
I've tried many setups, and honestly, if you want to keep that sleek Audi aesthetic without things rattling, you gotta look at high-quality liners. Instead of a bulky trunk box, I've had better luck with the Audi Genuine ZAW061193 Cargo Net—it's lowkey the best way to keep a gym bag from sliding without taking up floor space.
For the armrest, if the tray mentioned earlier doesn't feel premium enough, maybe check out the ESR Car Phone Mount with MagSafe for your cables and phone. It keeps the wires from tangling in the bins, which is usually where the clutter starts. Just my 2 cents, but keeping the surfaces clear is better than adding more plastic bins!! gl with the new ride though, its a beauty.
Quick question—are you looking for a more permanent, integrated look or something you can easily pull out for cleaning? Because for the door bins, basically everything rattles unless it has a rubber liner, which highkey makes a huge difference in that cabin.
Before I give advice on the trunk though, I mean, are you mostly worried about the gym bag sliding or do you carry groceries and stuff too? If it's just the bag, I've had good luck with simple velcro blocks, but a full tray is a different beast entirely tbh.
Works great for me
