What trunk nets fit the Audi e-tron SUV cargo area?

I’m looking for a way to keep my groceries and gear from sliding around the back of my e-tron SUV. I noticed the cargo area has those four metal tie-down hooks, but I’m struggling to find a net that fits perfectly without being too loose or overly stretched. I checked the official Audi parts site, and the OEM price is a bit steep, so I’m wondering if anyone has found a high-quality aftermarket version or maybe a net from another model (like the Q5 or Q7) that works just as well. Does anyone have a specific brand or Amazon link for a net that matches the e-tron's floor dimensions and clip placement?

yo, i totally feel your pain on this one! the official audi prices are actually insane for what is basically a piece of mesh, right?? i'm a huge fan of keeping the e-tron looking clean without blowing the budget on every single accessory.

before i dive into my setup, what exactly are you trying to secure most of the time? like, are we talking heavy groceries that might tip, or just small gear that rolls around? also, are you looking for something that stays flat on the floor or one of those vertical envelope-style ones?

here is what i've found after testing a few options:

- check out the generic "heavy duty" nets on sites like amazon or ebay that are marketed for the q5/q7 size. since the floor dimensions are super similar, they usually have enough stretch to hit all four hooks without snapping.
- i actually found a used net from a volkswagen atlas at a local wrecking yard for like ten bucks and it fits almost perfectly! the tension is actually better than some of the cheap thin ones.
- honestly, if you want it to look oem but hate the price, keep an eye on marketplace or audi forums. people trade their cars in all the time and forget the cargo net in the garage.

ngl, i went through two cheap ones before finding a middle-ground version that didn't feel like it was gonna rip my tie-down hooks out of the floor. it's lowkey a trial and error process cuz the e-tron's cargo floor is surprisingly wide... anyway, let me know what you're hauling and i can probably give a better suggestion! cheers

yo, i totally get why youre hesitant to drop $150+ on a piece of mesh from the dealer... honestly, that price is pretty insane. i'm kinda new to the e-tron world, but i've been obsessed with making sure my stuff doesn't fly around and damage the interior trim cuz those repair bills are even scarier!!

for your situation, i definitely suggest looking at the Envelope Style Trunk Floor Cargo Net for Audi e-tron SUV 2019-2023 which you can usually find on amazon for like $25-$30. i tried a few different ones, and honestly, the fitment on this specific one is decent enough. it’s not *perfect* like the OEM, but it stretches across those four metal tie-downs without feeling like its gonna snap. plus, it’s basically 1/5th of the cost of the audi version.

another budget-friendly way to go is the Trunkguy Heavy Duty Elastic Cargo Net 30x24 inch which is super cheap (around $15). it’s a bit more "universal," but it feels highkey safer than the super thin nets since the bungee material is thicker. basically, if you have a heavy gallon of milk or some tools, it actually keeps them pinned down. i mean, it might look a little less "luxury," but it gets the job done without breaking the bank. just make sure you check the clip quality when it arrives... sometimes the plastic ones feel a bit flimsy, but you can always swap them for small metal carabiners from a hardware store for a few bucks if youre worried about safety. gl with the search!! 👍

Seconding the recommendation above. Honestly, I’ve gotta warn you about those cheap universal nets from Amazon. I tried a few, but the tension was way off—either too loose to hold a gallon of milk or so tight they felt like they’d snap the tie-down hooks. Plus, the plastic clips on non-OEM versions are kinda flimsy and might scratch your trim. If you don't go Genuine Audi, at least check the hook material before buying!

sooo i totally get the struggle. honestly, the cargo area in the e-tron is kinda wierdly shaped compared to the Q5, so finding a perfect fit is a total pain. In my experience, I actually tried using the Audi Q7 Genuine OEM Cargo Net since i had one lying around from my old car, but it was way too loose and everything just slid under it anyway. super disappointing tbh.

For your situation, I would suggest checking out the TrunkNets Inc. Floor Style Trunk Cargo Net for Audi e-tron SUV. I picked one up about six months ago after getting fed up with my groceries flying everywhere. its basically a fraction of the OEM price and actually fits the four tie-down hooks pretty well without being so tight it feels like it's gonna snap. unfortunately, the clips it comes with are kinda cheap plastic, so i actually swapped them out for some small metal carabiners i found at a hardware store.

i also tried a generic Envelope Style Trunk Cargo Net but that was a total disaster because the e-tron doesnt really have the upper attachment points in the right spot for a vertical net... i mean, it works if you just want to shove stuff in a pocket, but for floor coverage? forget it. definitely stick with the floor-style ones. also, just a heads up, the Envelope Style Trunk Cargo Net for Audi Q5 definitely doesnt stretch far enough across the e-tron floor, so dont waste ur money on that one like i did lol. anyway hope that helps you out! peace
