Regarding what #9 said about +1 - it is definitely the biggest headache. Unfortunately, I had a nightmare with my current setup when I first put it in. The interface looked great on paper but in reality, the lag was so bad I almost backed into a pole because the image didnt update fast enough... totally not as good as expected for a premium car. I wasted a whole weekend on the install just to be disappointed with the results. Quick reply while I have a sec tho, are you trying to keep the original MMI screen or are you going for an aftermarket display? Knowing your exact year would help too since the MMI versions change everything and most of these kits are kind of a gamble if you dont know your software version.
