Recommended roof racks and cargo carriers for BMW X3 owners?

For your G01, I would suggest going with the Thule WingBar Edge Black over the OEM bars. i've tried both and the Thule sits lower and looks way more integrated. plus, the wind noise is basically non-existent compared to the whistling I got from the factory BMW ones.

Here's what I recommend for the setup:
- get the Thule Motion XT XL Cargo Carrier - it sounds big but it *actually* fits the roofline perfectly.
- use the built-in slide adjustments to push the box forward. i've had zero issues with the hatch hitting the back as long as you're careful during the first install.
