I just took delivery of my new BMW iX xDrive50 and absolutely love the interior, but I'm worried about keeping those floors pristine. I’m looking for high-quality floor mats that offer great coverage, especially since the iX has that unique flat floor layout in the front and back. I’m torn between the official BMW all-weather liners and aftermarket options like TuxMat or WeatherTech. Does anyone have experience with how the fitment holds up around the center console? I want something that looks premium but can handle mud and spills. What are you guys using, and do they stay securely in place without sliding around?

Quick question - what kind of climate are you dealing with daily? Basically, if you're in a super rainy or snowy area, safety is a huge concern because some liners get really slick when wet. I'm kinda a beginner with the iX, but I've heard the 3D MAXpider KAGU Floor Mat is a great alternative that doesn't slide around at all. Honestly, just wanna make sure you get something with a solid grip so it doesn't interfere with the pedals lol.

For your situation, I'd say you gotta look at the cost-to-performance ratio because official BMW stuff is usually overpriced. Honestly, in my experience over the years, I've tried many sets and the WeatherTech FloorLiner HP is a solid middle ground, but it can feel a bit like hard plastic.

If ur looking for the best value that still looks premium, here is what I recommend:

1. **Fitment:** The TuxMat All-Weather Floor Mats for BMW iX actually covers the most surface area, especially that tricky spot by the center console.
2. **Security:** Make sure you use the retention clips. If the mats slide, they wear out the carpet underneath.
3. **Cleaning:** Stick with a basic pH-neutral cleaner. Fancy "mat restorers" are basically a waste of money.

Tbh, the BMW Genuine iX All-Weather Floor Mats are okay, but they don't have the high walls u need for mud. I'd personally go with TuxMat since they look less like a truck liner and more like a luxury interior. Pretty much a no-brainer for the iX floor layout. gl!

Sooo, basically, protecting that iX interior is a MUST. In my experience, all-weather mats are the only way to go for the flat floor. Over the years, I've tried many different brands, and I'm honestly kinda impressed with how TuxMat handles the center console area. It's got that high-wall coverage that looks highkey premium. The OEM ones are okay too, but they don't cover as much stuff lol. Anyway, just make sure they're locked in! 👍
