Hey everyone, I recently picked up a BMW 4 Series and while I love the lines, it feels a bit too 'stock' compared to others I see on the road. I’m looking for some tasteful exterior mods to give it a more aggressive look without going overboard. I’ve already considered swapping out the chrome for gloss black kidney grilles and maybe adding a carbon fiber trunk lip, but I'm not sure what else really makes a big impact. Are M-style mirror caps still the go-to, or is there something else trending? What are the most popular exterior cosmetic mods you’d recommend for a clean, OEM+ look?

Similar situation here - I was literally obsessed with getting that aggressive OEM+ look on my 440i last year without spending crazy money. I actually started with the grilles like you mentioned, but the real game changer for me was definitely the mirror caps. I went with the AutoTecknic Carbon Fiber Replacement Mirror Covers for BMW F32 and it lowkey made the car look way more modern. If youre on a budget tho, you can find some generic Gloss Black M-Style Mirror Caps for BMW F32 for like $45-60 on Amazon that look amazing!!

Another thing I found that makes a huge impact for cheap is the IND Distribution Painted Front Reflector Set for BMW F32 4 Series. Those orange reflectors are such an eyesore, right?? Getting the paint-matched ones (usually around $75-80) makes the front bumper look sooo much cleaner. Also, dont overlook some cheap Gloss Black Side Skirt Extensions for BMW F32 4 Series... i think i paid like $120 for mine and they really tied the whole profile together. Best of luck with the build!

Basically, sequential signals and chrome deletes are the big ones now. I went through this last year and comparing Kies Motorsports Dynamic Sequential LED Side Mirror Turn Signals to a DIY 3M 2080 G12 Gloss Black Vinyl Wrap was a huge learning curve.

* Kies Motorsports Dynamic Sequential LED Side Mirror Turn Signals: These look SO good and modern. Pros: highkey aggressive look. Cons: the install is tricky cuz the internal clips are fragile... I actually broke one during the swap.
* 3M 2080 G12 Gloss Black Vinyl Wrap: The gold standard for covering that stock chrome trim. Pros: very cheap for a budget build. Cons: it's literally impossible to get the curves perfect if you're a beginner like me.

Tbh, my wrap job looked kinda trash after a week cuz it started peeling at the corners... it just wasn't as good as expected. I guess I'm still learning the technical side of things!! Anyway, hope ur 4 series turns out better than mine did. gl! 👍

I would suggest these:
- M Performance Front Splitter for BMW 4 Series F32
- Carbon Fiber Rear Diffuser for BMW F32 4 Series

Both are under $300 and highkey look amazing... love it!!
