I’m looking to protect my BMW X3’s interior from mud and spills this winter. I’ve seen the OEM liners, but I’m also hearing great things about WeatherTech and TuxMat. I want something with a perfect fit that doesn't look too industrial. Does anyone have experience with which brand offers the best coverage and durability for the G01 chassis?

Oh man, i feel u on this. When I first got my G01, I immediately grabbed the BMW G01 X3 All-Weather Floor Mats thinking theyd be the perfect fit since they're OEM. Honestly? I was kinda disappointed... unfortunately the sidewalls are super low so mud basically just spills over onto the carpet anyway. Not as good as I expected for the price tbh!

So I switched it up and tried the WeatherTech FloorLiner for BMW X3 because everyone raves about them. They're okay but lowkey look a bit too industrial and plasticky for a BMW interior. If you want that perfect balance, I reallyyy think you should check out TuxMat Custom Car Mats for BMW X3. I finally got those and they literally cover everything, like way up into the footwell. Plus they look way more high-end than the rubbery ones. So yeah, avoid the OEM ones if you actually have messy winters like I do... gl with the choice! 👍

Hmm, I've had a different experience. While everyone loves the high-end brands, I honestly think spending $200+ on mats is overkill when the G01 chassis is already so well-insulated. In my experience over the years, I've tried many expensive sets only to realize they all get trashed by salt anyway.

Respectfully, I'd consider another option that's way easier on the wallet but still looks sharp:

* 3D MAXpider KAGU Series Floor Liners for BMW X3 G01 - These are usually around $140 and actually look like carpet, not industrial plastic.
* VIERES All Weather Floor Mats for BMW X3 2018-2024 - Super budget-friendly, basically a WeatherTech clone for half the price.

Basically, I mean why pay the 'BMW tax' or the big brand markup? Over the years, I've found that these mid-range ones fit just as tight. Plus, you can spend the savings on a good detail in the spring haha. Just my two cents tho!

Story time: I went through this last year. I was basically torn between high-end coverage and staying under a $150 budget for my G01.

* I tried some cheaper universal ones first—big mistake, they slid everywhere.
* Eventually, I found a middle-ground set that looks less like a truck liner.
* Salt still builds up, but a quick power wash keeps them looking decent.

But yeah, are you mostly dealing with just slush, or is it heavy mud? Also, how much are you actually looking to spend? tbh, spending $200+ felt like overkill for my needs, but idk maybe your winters are worse!!
