Best cargo organizers for the new Buick Envision?

I just recently picked up a new Buick Envision, and while I am absolutely loving the smooth ride and the premium feel of the interior, I’m having a bit of a struggle with the cargo area. The trunk space is decent for a compact SUV, but the floor is so smooth that everything I put back there ends up sliding around the moment I take a sharp turn. Last week, I had a couple of grocery bags tip over, and I spent ten minutes hunting for loose cans and fruit that had rolled into the corners!

I’m really looking for some recommendations for high-quality cargo organizers that actually fit the Envision’s specific dimensions. I’d love something that is sturdy enough to hold heavier items like milk jugs or a roadside emergency kit, but ideally, it should be collapsible so I can tuck it away when I need to haul larger suitcases. Since the car has such a refined look, I’m hoping to find an option that doesn't look cheap or flimsy. I'm also curious if anyone has found a solution that doesn't block access to the floor tie-down hooks. Are you guys using the official Buick accessories, or have you found a third-party brand that fits like a glove?

Ok so, I feel u... I had milk jugs literally flying in my Envision too!! For your situation, I recommend the Drive Auto Products Car Cargo Organizer with Straps; it uses heavy 600D polyester and hooks into the floor loops perfectly without blocking them. Lesson learned: always use those straps so stuff wont slide around! gl!

Hey, just catching up on this thread! Ngl, those sliding milk jugs are actually a safety hazard if you ever have to swerve suddenly, so I totally get the frustration. For a premium ride like the Envision, you dont want something that looks like a cheap plastic crate.

Heres what I recommend:

* TrunkCrratePro Collapsible Multi Compartment Trunk Organizer: This one is super sturdy and has reinforced walls so it wont buckle under heavy items. It looks realy sleek and fits the compact dimensions without blocking the tie-downs.
* Lusso Gear Heavy Duty Trunk Organizer with Adjustable Straps: I like this one because the fabric finish matches the premium interior feel. It uses strong straps that are basically mandatory for safety to keep the whole thing from shifting during sharp turns.

Both are collapsible and way better than the overpriced dealer accessories. Just make sure to hook the straps tightly to the floor loops so nothing becomes a projectile! Honestly, it’s a small price to pay for the peace of mind. 👍

Sooo adding my two cents... I went through this last year when I first got my SUV. Basically, the technical reason things slide so much is that the Envision uses a low-friction cargo floor liner to make sliding heavy suitcases easier. It's great for loading, but yeah, it's a nightmare for groceries. I actually had a gallon of orange juice explode in the back because it hit the side panel so hard... literally spent two hours scrubbing.

Just sharing my experience here, but I found that staying on a budget is totally doable if you skip the dealership prices.

1. I looked at the official Buick ones but they’re pricey (like $130+). Honestly, I found the Fortem Car Trunk Organizer with Straps to be a way better deal at around $30. It's got those reinforced base plates which help it stay upright even with heavy stuff like milk or tools.
2. Be careful with the cheaper mesh ones. They tend to sag. I tried the TrunkShield Heavy Duty Cargo Net for a bit, which was only $15, but it didn't really hold the heavy stuff well. It's better for light bags.
3. One technical thing to watch out for: make sure to check the dimensions so it doesn't block the floor tie-downs. I'd suggest something with adjustable straps so you can anchor it to the hooks without covering them. I'm pretty sure the Starling's Car Cargo Organizer works well for this because it's slightly narrower and usually runs about $40.

Anyway, just be careful not to overpack the corners or it might tip. Basically, you want the weight centered. Good luck!! 👍

Seconding the recommendation above about the straps... honestly, they are basically mandatory given how smooth that Envision floor is. Ngl, I saw this earlier and wanted to jump in because I’ve tested a few setups for these compact SUVs. While the 'official' GM accessories look nice, they're usually marked up like 200% just for the logo, which isn't very practical imo.

If you want that premium look without the 'cheap' flimsy fabric feel, I’d highly recommend the Rola 59001 M.O.V.E. Rigid Base Trunk Organizer. Unlike the soft-sided ones, this has a rigid base so it won't sag or tip over when you've got heavy milk jugs or a roadside kit in there. It actually stays put way better than the polyester versions because it’s got some weight to it. Plus, it folds totally flat when you need to haul larger suitcases.

From a cost-conscious perspective, here is a quick tip: most of the sliding happens because of the low-friction floor liner mentioned in Reply #2. You can actually buy a Gorilla Grip Original Cargo Liner and trim it to fit the center of your Envision’s trunk floor. It adds a tacky surface for like $20, so even your loose grocery bags stay put without needing a full bin. It doesn't block the tie-down hooks either if you trim it right. Combining that with a solid mid-range bin like the Starling's Car Trunk Organizer 2 Compartment is usually the most effective setup for the money. It works way better than just trusting the velcro! 👍

Quick reply while I have a sec... I totally agree with the point about wall rigidity. Tbh, a lot of people just look at the price and forget to check the actual material specs. If you are comparing generic brands vs the higher-end aftermarket stuff, you really need to look at the denier count of the polyester. Anything under 600D is basically garbage and wont hold its shape after a week of holding heavy milk jugs. One big warning tho: be super careful with the ultra-cheap organizers that have those sticky rubber bottoms. I've seen cases where the cheap adhesives or low-quality rubber backing react with the synthetic fibers in the Envisions cargo carpet when the car interior gets hot. You can end up with a sticky residue that is basically impossible to clean off without ruining the carpet. Honestly, stick to brands that use high-density Oxford cloth and actual mechanical fasteners like the straps mentioned earlier. It is way safer for the cars resale value in the long run than relying on cheap friction pads that might melt or off-gas.
