picked up my envista st last week and need to protect the floors before our mountain trip in june. im torn between the official buick liners and those tuxedo mats everyone talks about. i only got like $250 left in my accessory budget so i need to pick one. which ones fit the floor better without sliding around?

The TuxMat Buick Envista Custom Floor Mats are superior. They feature three-layer construction and high vertical sidewalls for max coverage, plus retention clips so they wont slide. Fits the budget perfectly.

Honestly, the Buick Envista All-Weather Floor Liners with Buick Logo are a solid bet if you wanna stay under budget. They snap right into the factory floor posts so they wont budge an inch while driving. They arent as flashy as some brands, but for a mountain trip, they handle mud and spills just fine. Plus you can usually get them from the dealer for around 150 bucks, leaving cash for other gear.

^ This. Also, i kinda disagree with spending the whole $250! I think i heard somewhere that the Trax mats fit because the floors are basically identical? Not 100% sure but if you can find a cheaper set of generic rubber ones, youll save so much cash for your trip! Thatd be amazing! Youre gonna love the ST in the mountains tho! Definitely post pics!

Building on the earlier suggestion, i am so stoked for your mountain trip! I actually took my previous SUV out to the Smokies last fall and having mats that lock into place is just a total game changer for safety. I once used a cheap set that slid under the brake pedal while I was downhill and it was absolutely terrifying... literally the scariest moment behind the wheel! You really want that rock-solid fit when you're on those steep grades. The Envista is such an amazing choice tho, you are gonna have a blast! Just curious, are you expecting more heavy mud or just dusty trails? And do you feel more comfortable with the high-wall style that covers the carpeted sides or do you prefer the flatter ones for easier cleaning? Cant wait to hear how the ST handles the climb!
