So I finally did it and got a Cadillac Lyriq last week and honestly I am so lost with this thing. This is my first like... real nice car? My old car was a 2008 Corolla that had coffee stains everywhere and I really dont want to mess this one up because the interior is so pretty and white but I have no idea what I actually need. I keep seeing people talk about accessories on some of the groups but I have no idea what is actually worth it or if some of it is just a scam like do I need a screen protector for that giant screen it looks like it would get fingerprints so fast and I am kind of a neat freak about that but also worried I might mess up the touch sensitivity if I put a cheap sticker over it or something.

I live up near Seattle so the weather is basically just constant rain and mud and I am terrified of the carpets getting ruined. I looked at the Cadillac website for floor mats but they are so expensive? Is there a cheaper brand that fits just as well or should I stick to the official ones because I dont want them sliding around under the pedals. I also have a small dog who sheds everywhere and I really need to stop that from happening in the back but I dont want some ugly plastic cover that makes the car look cheap inside since the whole point was getting a luxury car.

If anyone has a list of stuff they bought first can you let me know? I have like maybe $400 or $500 to spend on this stuff right now and I just want to keep it looking new for as long as possible. Here is what I think I need but I dont know what brands are good:

  • floor mats that actually fit the weird floor shape in the front
  • something to protect the back of the seats from my kids shoes
  • maybe something for the center console because it seems like it would scratch easily with my keys
  • any kind of organizer for that big open space under the dash

Sorry if these are really basic questions I just feel like a fish out of water with all this tech and the fancy leather and everything and I dont even know where to shop besides Amazon and the dealership...

I saved so much skipping dealer prices! My mud-caked boots didnt stand a chance against these amazing deals:
