Hey everyone! I am beyond excited to share that I finally pulled the trigger and picked up a brand new Cadillac Escalade last weekend. It’s been my dream SUV for years, and driving it off the lot was an incredible feeling. The Crystal White Tricoat looks stunning, and that massive curved OLED display is honestly like something out of a sci-fi movie.

However, now that I have it sitting in my driveway, I’ve realized that I want to keep it in pristine condition while also making it a bit more practical for my daily life. I have two young kids and a golden retriever, so my biggest concern is protecting the interior without sacrificing that high-end luxury feel. I’ve been looking into high-quality floor liners—maybe WeatherTech or the official Cadillac ones—but I’m curious if they actually fit well with the plush carpeting.

I’m also considering some exterior protection. Given how much chrome is on the grille and trim, would you recommend a ceramic coating or perhaps a clear bra (PPF) for the front end? I’d hate to see rock chips on this paint job after only a month. Also, I noticed the center console is a total fingerprint magnet; has anyone found a good screen protector or a specific microfiber cloth they keep handy?

I have a budget of about $1,500 to $2,000 to get started on 'essential' upgrades and protection. I’m not really looking for performance mods right now, just things that add utility or preserve the vehicle's value.

For those of you who have owned the current generation for a while, what are the absolute must-have accessories you’d recommend for a new owner? Is there anything you regret buying or something you wish you’d installed on day one?

For your situation, get the TuxMat Floor Mats for 2021-2024 Cadillac Escalade because they actually cover the side walls, unlike WeatherTech, and they're only about $200. Plus, a Spigen Glas.tR Slim Screen Protector for Cadillac OLED Display is a lifesaver for fingerprints!

dude congrats!! honestly i feel u on the fingerprints... it's a mess. WARNING: dont just get ceramic coating if ur worried about chips!! Ceramic is basically just for shine, but it wont stop rocks. You gotta get a clear bra (PPF) for the front bumper. It saved my paint tbh. Also, Cadillac's own floor liners actually fit way better than WeatherTech with the plush carpet iirc!

For your situation with two kids and a golden retriever, safety and floor grip are literally everything. I'm a bit of a beginner here but honestly, I'd say skip the basic carpet mats. They're basically a trap for dog hair! Since you want that luxury feel without the mess, maybe look at 3D MAXpider Kagu Series Floor Liners for Cadillac Escalade. They've got this sleek carbon fiber texture that looks way more high-end than industrial rubber, and they won't slide around under the kids' feet.

Also, if you're worried about safety and preserving the car, you gotta think about the dog in the back. A Canvasback Cargo Liner for Cadillac Escalade is basically essential so your pup doesn't tear up the trim or slip. It covers the back of the seats too! For the fingerprints, just keep a CleanVu Microfiber Cleaning Cloth in the console. It’s a cheap way to keep that OLED looking sci-fi sharp without scratching it. gl with the new ride!! 👍
