Which floor mats are best for the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing?

I just finally took delivery of my CT5-V Blackwing, and while the factory carpet mats look sharp with the V-Series logo, I’m already worried about ruining them. I’m planning to daily drive this beast, so I need something much more durable to handle rain, dirt, and the occasional coffee spill without sacrificing the premium feel of the cabin.

I’ve been looking at the usual suspects like WeatherTech and TuxMat, but I’m a bit torn. I want something that offers full coverage—especially over the dead pedal area—but doesn't look like it belongs in a heavy-duty work truck. Since I have the 6-speed manual, I’m also particularly concerned about pedal clearance; the last thing I want is a thick rubber mat interfering with the clutch throw or getting caught during spirited driving. I’ve also seen the official Cadillac accessory all-weather mats, but I’m not sure if they provide enough lip protection around the edges compared to the high-wall aftermarket options.

Has anyone found a set that perfectly matches the Blackwing’s interior aesthetic while providing top-tier protection? I'd love to hear what you guys are using and if there are any specific fitment issues I should watch out for before I pull the trigger.

TL;DR from this thread: Basically the consensus is you dont need to drop $200 for big names to get solid protection. Honestly, I'm kinda new to the Blackwing scene but i think i heard the TuxMat ones have better coverage for the dead pedal? Not 100% sure but if you're worried about pedal clearance with the 6-speed, maybe check the thickness specs first? I'm satisfied with the cheaper options people mentioned cuz they just work well without the truck vibe lol. gl!!

Sooo I’ve been daily driving my 6-speed for a couple years now and honestly, I totally get the struggle of wanting protection without making the car look like a contractor truck. For your situation, I've found that you don't actually need to drop $200+ on the boutique brands to get that perfect fitment.

I’ve been super happy with the Cadillac CT5 All-Weather Floor Liners with V-Series Logo. Here is why they’ve worked well for me:

• They’re usually priced around $130-$150, which is WAY better than the high-end aftermarket stuff.
• Since it's an OEM part, there are literally zero issues with the clutch pedal clearance. Super important for the manual!!
• The lip is actually pretty decent. It's not a bucket like WeatherTech, but it handles spills and slush just fine without looking bulky.

Basically, if you want that premium look but still want to save some cash for gas, these are the way to go. GL! 👍

Spent way too much time obsessing over this for my manual BW so I figured Id chime in. I actually cycled through a couple sets because I was paranoid about the clutch pedal catching on the lip of the mat during fast shifts.

  • WeatherTech FloorLiner DigitalFit are super rugged but honestly they felt a bit too much like a plastic tray for such a nice cabin.
  • TuxMat Floor Mats for Cadillac CT5 give the best coverage by far. They cover almost every inch of the carpet and look very high-end, though they are a bit thicker.
  • 3D MAXpider KAGU Floor Mats ended up being my favorite because the texture matches the interior vibes way better than rubber. The 3D MAXpider ones are thinner than the TuxMats, which gave me more peace of mind with the 6-speeds travel. TuxMat is amazing for protection but they can feel a bit puffy under your feet. If youre doing heavy footwork, that thinner profile might be the move so you dont lose that tactile feel of the floor. Definitely check the clearance once you drop them in.
