Which cargo organizers work best for the Chevrolet Equinox EV?

Does anyone have a specific recommendation for a cargo organizer that actually fits the Equinox EV trunk well without sliding around every time I take a corner? I just picked up my 2LT a couple weeks ago here in rainy Seattle and while I love the drive the back area is just a big empty cavern right now and my groceries are basically doing gymnastics back there. I’m looking for something that fits the floor dimensions perfectly because that floor is a bit shallower than my old Equinox and I really want to be able to use the sub-trunk area without moving a giant heavy box every time.

I'm currently torn between three very different setups and can't decide which way to go. My budget is roughly $150 and I need to get this sorted before a big family trip next month.

  • The official one from the Chevy accessories site which is like $160ish I think? It looks like it might clip into the existing hooks but I haven't seen one in person and part of me feels like I'm just paying for the bowtie logo on the side.
  • The WeatherTech CargoTech blocks because they seem super flexible for when I have weird shaped stuff like my daughter's soccer bags or my camera tripod. I'm worried they wont stick well if I don't buy their specific rubber floor mat too which is another $130 I don't really want to spend right now.
  • A basic $40 collapsible one from Amazon like the Drive Auto brand but I'm worried it's gonna be too small or just slide all over the place because the EV acceleration is way punchier than I'm used to lol.

The main issue is that the Equinox EV has that weird false floor thing and I don't want something that blocks me from getting to my charging cables underneath. I also don't want something that takes up the entire width because sometimes I still need to fit a stroller back there too. If anyone has bought one of these or something else that fits the 2024 model year specifically let me know what the fitment is like because the interior seems narrower than the gas version and I'm worried about the wheel wells getting in the way...

Totally agree that the Amazon route is the way to go! I felt the same way about the overpriced official gear. I ended up getting a Drive Auto Collapsible Cargo Organizer and did a quick hack by sticking heavy-duty velcro on the bottom. It stays perfectly still even when I'm zooming! Love how it leaves room for my stroller too while keeping the sub-trunk accessible. Best $40 I spent!
