I've been a Corvette guy forever but my C7 Z06 interior is showing wear way sooner than my old C6 did. The seat bolsters are basically toast and the plastic bits feel cheap for a car this fast. Got a road trip next month and 3k to spend. What upgrades are actually worth the money?

In my experience, that plastic dash is the worst part.

Honestly, the best money I ever spent on my C7 was swapping out that thin factory steering wheel. It makes a huge difference in how the car feels daily. I went with a Vicrez Chevrolet Corvette C7 Steering Wheel Carbon Fiber and Suede and im super satisfied with the grip. For your seat issue, since youve got a road trip coming up, you really need to look at high-quality upholstery upgrades. Check these out:

- Sandyeggo Designs C7 Corvette Seat Belt Stay That Katzkin leather is way tougher than the OEM stuff and handles the bolster wear much better... plus it actually smells like real leather. Youll definitely notice the difference on a long drive. Most shops can swap it out pretty fast before you head out.
