I recently picked up a 2023 Chevy Traverse, and while I absolutely love the massive amount of space in the back, it’s becoming a bit of a disaster zone. Every time I take a corner or hit the brakes, I hear groceries sliding around and loose gear banging against the side panels. With the third row up, that deep storage well is great, but things just end up in a giant pile. I’m looking for a solid cargo organizer that actually fits the dimensions of the Traverse properly. I’ve looked at some generic foldable bins on Amazon, but I’m worried they’ll be too small or won't stay secure on the trunk liner. Does anyone have recommendations for an organizer that fits well with the third row both up and down? I'd prefer something with dividers for grocery bags and maybe a non-slip bottom so it doesn't become a projectile itself. My budget is around $100, but I’m willing to spend a bit more for something durable that won't collapse after a month. For those of you with a Traverse, what are you using to keep your trunk tidy and stop the 'sliding cargo' noise?
Hey, congrats on the new Traverse! Honestly, i feel u on the sliding groceries lol. I'm pretty cautious about stuff flying around too, so I checked out a few options for mine.
I mean, basically it comes down to these two:
1. Chevrolet Accessories Cargo Organizer in Black with Chevrolet Logo vs
2. Drive Auto Products Car Trunk Organizer
*Pros/Cons:*
The Chevy one is literally made for that deep well, so it fits *perfectly* and wont budge. But it's kinda pricey. The Drive Auto one is way cheaper and has great non-slip straps, but it might feel a bit loose if you dont secure it right.
I ended up going with the official Chevrolet Accessories Cargo Organizer cuz I wanted it to stay put for sure. Its been a month and I'm super satisfied, no more banging noises! gl! 👍
Honestly, for safety, you gotta make sure whatever you buy wont turn into a projectile if you hit the brakes hard! I'd personally check out the Starling's Car Trunk Organizer with Adjustable Straps because it actually has tie-down straps to keep it from sliding around on that slick liner. It’s like $40 and super sturdy tho!
+1 to what was said earlier. The OEM stuff is usually the way to go for fitment, but I've had issues with them being a bit too rigid for everyday grocery runs. Before I suggest anything else tho, are you mainly looking to fill that deep well behind the third row, or do you need something that stretches across the whole floor when the seats are down?? Knowing if you're hauling kids' sports gear or just bags would help a lot ngl.
