Hey everyone! I recently picked up a 2022 Chevy Camaro, and while I absolutely love the factory lines and the way it drives, it feels a little bit "plain" when I park it next to other muscle cars at my local meets. I’m really looking to give it a more aggressive, personalized look without going overboard or making it look tacky.

I’ve been browsing a few sites and I'm a bit overwhelmed by the sheer volume of options out there. I’m definitely considering a front splitter and some matching side skirts to give it a lower profile, and I’ve been eyeing those smoked-out LED side markers because the factory orange ones really stick out against my paint. I also saw some interior ambient lighting kits and wicker bill spoilers, but I’m not sure which ones are actually high-quality and which are just cheap plastic.

I’m trying to keep my initial budget around $1,200 and I want to focus on mods that are relatively easy to install but make a big visual impact. I’ve done a bit of research on ZL1-style conversions, but I'm curious about what the community actually recommends for a clean, daily-driver setup.

In your experience, what are the most popular and essential aesthetic mods that every Camaro owner should consider to really make their car stand out from the crowd?

yo, congrats on the 2022! ngl I had high hopes for my build but some stuff was basically a letdown. definitely get the Diode Dynamics Smoked LED Side Markers first—the stock orange ones are literally eyesores. I also tried a cheap splitter that shattered, so I reallyyy recommend the EOS ZL1 Style Front Splitter for better quality. honestly? the Drake Muscle Cars Wicker Bill Spoiler looks sick but it's kinda a pain to install alone. gl!

Quick question - before I dive into the tech specs, are you rocking the I4/V6 fascia or do you have the LT1/SS front end? It basically changes everything for fitment lol. Since you want that aggressive vibe, I'd highkey suggest looking at the ACS Composite Gen 6 Front Splitter instead of the cheap ebay ones. It's way more durable and literally transforms the front profile. Lmk which trim you have and I can give better info!!

Ok so, I went through this last year when I first got my 2022 and had that $1,200 limit in mind.

- Honestly, I learned the hard way that spending less upfront on cheap aero parts basically meant I was replacing them six months later.
- I spent about $800 on a decent splitter and skirt combo and it was so worth it for the long-term quality.

Just curious, are you planning to do the install yourself or paying a shop?? Also, do you drive in an area with a lot of steep driveways??

Sooo, just a quick warning first... tbh you gotta be super careful with those cheap plastic splitters because they can actually be pretty dangerous if they snap off at highway speeds or catch on a curb... I'm still kinda new to this but I've heard it's a total nightmare if they shatter and mess up your tires!!

For your situation, here's what I recommend looking at:
Option A: Budget Amazon/eBay aero kits. Pros: cheap and fast. Cons: brittle, bad fitment, and honestly a safety hazard if they fly off.
Option B: High-quality vinyl wraps or professional window tint. Pros: totally safe, looks SLEEK, and makes the car look lower without actual clearance issues. Cons: can be pricey to get done right.
Option C: Premium LED lighting upgrades. Pros: better visibility and looks modern. Cons: a bit more technical to install.

Honestly I think Option B is the best choice for a daily driver... get a nice ceramic tint and maybe some blacked-out badges. It's safe, lowkey aggressive, and wont fall off while youre driving lol. Good luck!! peace!
