What are the absolute must-have interior accessories for a 2024 Chevy Silverado? I just picked mine up yesterday here in Denver and I am already worried about the mud and snow ruining the floors this winter. I saw some people online swearing by WeatherTech liners but then I saw a few threads saying the OEM rubber mats from Chevy are actually better because they fit the factory clips more securely and dont slide around at all. I am mostly using it for my weekend mountain trips so I need stuff that can handle real dirt. I also looked at those center console organizers since the middle bin is basically just one giant black hole but some look like cheap plastic junk. My budget is around $500 total. What are you guys actually using?

Dude congrats on the new truck! Seriously, the 2024 Silverado is such a beast! Denver winters are absolutely brutal on interiors tho so you are smart to get ahead of the grime right now before the first big snow hits. I have spent way too much money testing different setups in my own rigs over the years, but honestly, you dont need to drop a fortune to keep it looking brand new. Here is my ultimate budget-friendly list to stay way under that $500 mark:

  • Skip the overpriced ones and get the Husky Liners WeatherBeater All-Weather Floor Mats. I love these way more than the ones you mentioned because the rubber feels way grippier and less plasticky when it gets wet. They catch every bit of slush and fit like a dream!
  • For that black hole of a console, grab the Vehicle OCD Center Console Organizer Tray for Chevy Silverado. It is cheap but the quality is fantastic. It basically turns that giant pit into a functional space so you can actually find your wallet or sunglasses without digging for ten minutes.
  • Since you are doing mountain trips, you definitely want the Spigen Glas.tR EZ Fit 13.4 Inch Screen Protector. It keeps fingerprints off that massive screen and protects it from scratches if you are tossing gear around the cab. You can get all of this for way under $300 easily, which leaves you plenty of extra cash for gas or hiking gear! Honestly, you are gonna love having a clean truck after those muddy weekend trips! Let me know if you need more tips for dealing with the Denver slush!

In my experience, mat slippage is a genuine safety concern. Over the years, I've seen too many liners slide under the brake pedal. The 3D MAXpider KAGU Floor Mat Black Silverado 1500 uses a patented fiber backing that actually grips the carpet fibers. They handle Denver melt better than those hard plastic bins you usually see. Reliable fitment is everything when youre driving in heavy boots.

^ This. Also, honestly, i was super disappointed with the hard plastic liners everyone usually recommends. They were not as good as expected and just felt like cheap buckets under my feet. Unfortunately, when the snow melts in Denver, your boots just slide everywhere on that plastic... super annoying. I ended up swapping them for TuxMat Custom Car Mats for Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and they are way better. They actually cover almost all the carpet and feel more like a premium material than industrial plastic. For that center console, i had issues with items being a jumbled mess even with a basic tray. The Vehicle OCD Center Console Organizer Divider for Chevy Silverado 1500 actually separates the bottom section so your gear isnt flying around on those mountain roads. Tbh, spending a bit more on these will save you so much frustration later. Let me know if you need help finding the right part numbers for your specific trim!

Unfortunately, those OEM mats often curl at the edges after one Denver winter. Check the GM-Trucks forums for long-term user photos before buying anything tho. I had issues with cheap fabric covers tearing, so I suggest these instead:
