i just got a 2018 chrysler 300 and im honestly terrified of breaking something since i dont know anything about cars. i have around $1200 saved but looking at parts online is making my head spin. sorry if this is dumb but what are some easy mods to make it look cool and maybe go faster...

Agree, but unfortunately cheap intakes often run worse than stock. Had issues with generic fitment before. Try these:

Wait, before i drop any part numbers... are you running the 3.6L Pentastar or the 5.7L Hemi? The ecu maps and heat tolerances vary a lot between those two powerplants. If you want better performance without risking reliability, i'd focus on braking and throttle response first.

  • PowerStop K6364-26 Z26 Street Warrior Brake Kit - the stock pads on these 4,000lb cars tend to fade. this kit uses a carbon-fiber ceramic compound that handles thermal stress much better than the OEM setup.
  • Pedal Commander PC31 Throttle Response Controller - it doesnt add actual hp but it modifies the signal to the throttle body to remove that factory lag. Ngl if youre worried about breaking stuff, definitely avoid cheap generic tuners. Stick to brands that actually publish their data and have decent support. Lmk what engine youre working with tho so i can check the fitment specs.

Any updates on this?

Checking this thread late but honestly the market is such a scam. I bought parts with bad tolerances that didnt even fit.

  • overpriced junk
  • bad QC It drives me crazy.
