Im looking for decent mats for my 2022 Pacifica. WeatherTech seems popular but I heard they get slippery, and Husky looks a bit bulky. We get tons of salt here in Michigan so I need something tough.

  • Budget: under $250
  • Must work with Stow n Go
  • Easy to spray off

What are you guys using?

Ive used Husky Liners Weatherbeater All-Weather Floor Mats for years. They handle Michigan salt well and wont mess with Stow n Go.

  • easy spray off
  • solid fit They arent as bulky as they look, honestly.

Look, if youre worried about safety and the mats sliding around, 3D MAXpider Kagu Floor Mat All-Weather Series for Chrysler Pacifica are probably your best bet. Ive seen too many people complain about the plastic-y feel of WeatherTechs when they get wet or salty. They can basically turn into an ice rink under your heels which isnt ideal when you're driving in a Michigan winter. The 3D MAXpider mats use a specific three-layer structure that I find much more reliable than standard rubber. The bottom layer has this velcro-like texture that grips the factory carpet like crazy. It wont budge, which is a major safety plus in my book.

  • The fit is laser-scanned, so it wont interfere with the folding mechanisms for the Stow n Go seats.
  • The surface is a textured rubber (TPR) that provides actual grip even when covered in slush.
  • They are much lighter than the heavy rubber ones, making it easier to pull them out for a quick spray. Only real downside is they dont have the super deep bucket walls that some heavy-duty liners have, but the coverage is definitely enough for road salt. For a 2022 model, they look way more factory-spec and clean than the industrial-looking options. Just make sure you get the specific kit for the 7-passenger or 8-passenger depending on what you have.

Jumping in here because I've gone through quite a few sets over the years. I'm honestly very satisfied with my current setup after dealing with those brutal Michigan winters for a decade. Reliability and safety are the biggest things for me because I've seen how liners can warp or slide, which is basically a recipe for disaster when you're getting in and out with wet boots. I found that focusing on a few specific factors really helped:

  • Ensuring the material provides a non-slip surface even when it's soaking wet
  • Checking that the edges dont interfere with the folding seat mechanisms
  • Finding something that keeps its shape after a high-pressure wash Before you buy tho, how often are you actually folding those seats down? Also, are you mostly hauling kids in the back or using it more for cargo space?
