Hey everyone! I recently picked up a Dodge Durango, and with winter right around the corner, I’m looking to swap out the factory carpet mats before they get ruined by mud and road salt. I’ve been looking at a few different options, but I’m a bit overwhelmed by the choices and want something that actually fits the contours of the floor perfectly.
I’m specifically looking for mats that offer great coverage for the second and third rows, especially since I have kids jumping in and out constantly. I've heard mixed things about the 'plastic' feel of some high-end liners versus the more rubberized, flexible feel of others. Does anyone have experience with how brands like WeatherTech or Husky Liners actually hold up in the Durango over time? Also, if anyone has found a set that covers the 'hump' in the middle row effectively, that would be a huge plus.
I’m willing to spend a bit more for quality, but I want to make sure they don't slide around or curl at the edges after a few months of use. For those of you who have had your Durango through a few seasons, which all-weather mats have provided the best protection and stayed looking decent?
Just sharing my experience: I went through this same struggle last year with my Durango. I actually found that WeatherTech FloorLiner HP is way better than their older stuff—it’s got a more rubberized feel and doesnt slide at all. Plus, I ended up with the 3D MAXpider KAGU Series Floor Liners for the second row because they literally wrap over the center hump perfectly. Definitely worth the extra cash for that fit alone!!

Curious about one thing: do you have the second-row captain's chairs or the full bench seat? It actually makes a huge difference for that middle hump coverage ur looking for. Honestly, I've had some bad luck with the super expensive brands lately... they just didn't fit right and started curling after one season, which was sooo disappointing. If you want a solid budget pick that actually feels like rubber, maybe check out Mopar All-Weather Floor Mats for Dodge Durango or even SMARTLINER Custom Fit Floor Mats for Dodge Durango. They're way cheaper but highkey durable.
TIL! Thanks for sharing
For your situation, I'd say definitely go with Husky Liners WeatherBeater Floor Mats for 2021-2023 Dodge Durango. I mean, I'm kinda a beginner with car mods, so I was super cautious about spending the cash, but these have been a lifesaver for my Durango.
So basically, here is why I like them:
* They have a more rubberized feel than the super stiff WeatherTech FloorLiner for Dodge Durango, which honestly feels a bit too plastic-y and can get slippery when wet.
* The coverage for the back is great. The second-row liner actually covers the center hump perfectly so the kids dont ruin the carpet when they're climbing around.
* They have these little "nibs" on the bottom so they literally do not slide at all.
I was worried about them curling up at the edges cuz I've seen that happen on cheaper sets, but mine are still holding strong after a full winter of salt and mud. It might be worth checking if your Durango has the bucket seats or the bench in the middle tho, cuz the fit changes depending on the seat layout! Good luck!!
