I’m beyond excited to finally be taking delivery of my 12Cilindri soon, but I want to make sure I’m fully prepared the moment it hits the garage. Since this is such a new model with those unique aerodynamic lines and that massive hood, I’m a bit worried about finding a car cover that actually fits perfectly without being too loose or, worse, scratching the finish. I'm mainly looking for an indoor cover that’s ultra-soft on the inner lining but breathable enough to prevent moisture buildup.

On the technical side, I’ve heard mixed things about the standard chargers Ferrari provides with their newer V12s. With the 12Cilindri’s advanced electronics, I’m a little paranoid about battery drain if the car sits for a week or two. Does anyone know if the 12Cilindri uses the same magnetic port setup as the 812 or Roma? I’m looking for a battery tender that is truly 'set it and forget it' and safe for the car's specific battery chemistry.

Are most of you sticking with the official Ferrari-branded accessories that come with the car, or is there an aftermarket setup from brands like CTEK or a custom cover manufacturer that you’d recommend for this specific model? Looking for any advice to keep this beauty in showroom condition!

Ok so im still kinda new to this but i was sooo worried about the paint on my ride. I use the California Car Cover Custom Fit Plushweave Carpet-Style Indoor Cover and honestly im super satisfied. It feels like a thick, soft blanket! For the battery, look at the NOCO GENIUS10 10-Amp Fully-Automatic Smart Charger. It detects battery type automatically which makes me feel way safer with those expensive electronics lol. Hope that helps!

Sooo first off, HUGE congrats on the 12Cilindri! honestly, that's like the dream right there... ngl I am a bit jealous of that V12 scream you're gonna be hearing soon. Anyway, I've spent way too much time obsessing over the technical specs on these newer layouts so here is the deal on your garage setup. For the battery, you highkey gotta be careful. The 12Cilindri uses a Lithium-Ion (LiFePO4) battery chemistry, not the old-school lead-acid stuff. If you use a standard tender, you'll basically cook the cells pretty fast... be careful there! You basically have two paths: * Ferrari Genuine Lithium-Ion Battery Conditioner vs CTEK Lithium US 12V Battery Charger: Honestly, the Ferrari one is just a rebranded CTEK with the magnetic connector. Since the 12Cilindri uses the same magnetic port as the Roma and 812, sticking with the official one is the easiest "set it and forget it" option. If you go aftermarket with the CTEK, you have to find a magnetic adapter, which is a total pain.
* Specialised Covers Prestige Elite Custom Indoor Car Cover vs Official Ferrari 12Cilindri Indoor Car Cover: The OEM cover is basically a thin silk dust sheet. It's okay, but for that massive hood, I mean... I would suggest the Specialised Covers Prestige Elite Custom Indoor Car Cover. It's got a much thicker fleece lining and it's way more breathable for preventing moisture buildup in the long run. I'm pretty sure you'll find the magnetic port in the same spot under the rear ledge or near the license plate. Just make sure the pins are clean before you snap it on! Anyway, hope that helps and enjoy the new beast when it arrives!! gl! 👍

Quick question - before I dive into my usual technical rant lol, did your dealer confirm if your 12Cilindri is coming with the lightweight lithium battery or the standard lead-acid setup? Honestly, that makes a huge difference for the tender cuz you dont wanna fry those expensive electronics with the wrong charging profile... I've seen it happen on other newer models and it is NOT pretty. I've been messing with Ferrari V12s for years and basically, you cant go wrong with anything from CTEK. They actually make the branded ones for most of the big guys anyway, so going aftermarket usually saves you some cash while keeping the same internal quality. For the cover, I usually look at custom brands like Covercraft or maybe some boutique Italian shops if you want that perfect fit for that MASSIVE hood. Seriously, that front end is insane!! But yeah, tell me about your garage situation too—is it climate controlled?? Thatll help me give a better recommendation for the breathability factor. Anyway, HUGE congrats, so jealous of that V12 scream! 👍

Check out the CTEK MXS 5.0 Battery Charger if you wanna save cash. Ferrari basically rebrands CTEK anyway, so it’s totally safe... ngl I wouldnt trust a generic brand with those electronics. For the cover, Coverking Satin Stretch Indoor Car Cover is great for that soft lining without the 'Ferrari tax.' Pro tip: grab a CTEK 40-639 Magnetic Connector too if it uses the 812-style port. gl with the delivery!
