Just got the SF90 home and honestly Im kind of spiraling about the battery. Ive owned Ferraris for a decade and never worried this much but this hybrid system is just... complex. My logic was just use the OEM tender but Ive seen guys saying they fail or dont handle the 12V lithium logic properly.

I leave the car in my garage in Boca for three weeks at a time so I need something bulletproof. Is the CTEK Lithium XS the move or does it mess with the cars BMS? I really dont want to wake up to a bricked car because I used the wrong charger. What are you guys actually plugging in?

Honestly, be careful with the SF90 cuz the BMS is super picky. I once used a generic tender on a LiFePO4 battery and it nearly fried the electronics, total nightmare. Tbh, I would suggest sticking to these:

Omg I totally get the anxiety! I spent a month obsessing before I plugged anything into my SF90. These things are basically computers on wheels! I ended up going with OptiMate because it monitors every cell and I'm paranoid lol.

Quickly jumping in cuz Boca heat kills batteries fast. @Reply #1 - good point! CTEK is solid but I would suggest looking at these others with better logic:

Building on the earlier suggestion, I agree those units are fantastic, but honestly just stick to official factory gear for safety! It is way better for your warranty and piece of mind!
