Does anyone know what kind of luggage actually fits in the Roma Spider without scratching everything up? Im totally new to this whole Ferrari thing and honestly I am a bit overwhelmed. I just took delivery of a beautiful Roma Spider here in Miami and the trunk looks... well, it looks tiny. I am planning a weekend trip up to Palm Beach with my wife next month and I realized none of our big hard-shell Tumi suitcases are gonna work at all and I dont want to just throw stuff in loose because it might slide around. Im really worried about scuffing the leather inside too since I went with a lighter tan color and it looks so delicate.
I saw some official Ferrari luggage online but the prices are just insane, like $10k or more for a few bags? Is that normal? Are there other brands that make bags specifically for the weird shape of that trunk space? I have no idea where to start looking or if there are cheaper options that still look nice and dont look out of place. Also what about protection for the interior trim? I am terrified of my belt buckle or a bag zipper catching on the seats or the center console when I am reaching back there to grab something.
Specifically I am looking for:
The dealership didn't really explain much about the storage and I was way too excited to ask at the time but now I'm thinking about it and getting nervous. I really dont want to ruin the car in the first month of owning it. Is there some kind of special kit people buy or do you just wrap stuff in towels? Sorry if these are really basic questions I just dont want to make a huge mistake and regret it later when I see a giant scratch on my leather...
In my experience, KJUST Tailored Car Bags Ferrari Roma Spider is your best bet. They fit every nook perfectly and wont scuff that tan leather like your hard shell cases do.
Honestly, I've been super happy with Hills Alive Bespoke Luggage for Ferrari Roma Spider because its way cheaper than the official stuff. For the leather, I just lay down a Griots Garage PFM Terry Weave Drying Towel over the sills while loading.
Congrats on the new ride! Quick question tho, are you packing suit jackets or just casual gear? That changes how much squish you need. Hard shells are risky because corners leave permanent marks, so I have been happy with:
