So I finally got my 296 GTB delivered to my house in Coral Gables after waiting like a year and a half and honestly im more stressed out than happy right now. I know that sounds stupid but this is my first real car and I have no idea what im doing. When the guy dropped it off he just showed me how to start it and left and now im sitting in the garage looking at all this leather and carbon fiber thinking i am gonna ruin this in like two days. I tried looking up what people buy for these cars but everything is so complicated and half the websites look like scams or they use words I dont understand. Like what is a frunk liner and do I actually need one??

I went to get coffee this morning and I realized there isnt really a good place for my phone that doesnt feel like it's gonna scratch the finish and im terrified of the floor mats getting dirty. My shoes had a bit of sand on them and I almost had a panic attack. I feel like an idiot for asking this because obviously if you buy a Ferrari you should know this stuff but I really dont. I just want the interior to stay looking new but I also want to actually drive the thing without feeling like im in a museum. Is there like a kit or something? Or specific brands that people who actually know cars use?

I have some money set aside for extras maybe like five thousand bucks but I dont even know if that is too much or not enough for basic stuff. I keep seeing people talk about screen protectors for the dash which sounds crazy but maybe it isnt? I just want to know what are the absolute must have interior accessories for a 296 GTB because I am totally lost and the manual is like five hundred pages of stuff I dont understand. What do you guys actually put in your cars to keep them nice...

Regarding what #1 said about honestly i felt the same way when mine... unfortunately factory mats are thin tho. Try these instead:

In my experience, the mats and film the guys mentioned are solid starts, but dont forget the frunk. I always get the Ferrari Genuine Accessories 296 GTB Luggage Liner because sand or gear will wreck that carpet fast. For the phone, get the WeatherTech CupFone with Extension so it stays secure and doesnt scratch the console. Keeps your eyes on the road and prevents accidents.

honestly i felt the same way when mine showed up. I was so nervous i made my brother take his shoes off before he sat in it... sounds crazy but i was just so satisfied with how clean it stayed. I really recommend getting some protection early, but are you driving this daily or just for special trips? And are you worried more about permanent scuffs or just sand and spills?
