I recently picked up a 488 GTB and while the cockpit is incredible, it feels a bit 'stock' and I want to add some personal touches to elevate the experience. I’m looking for high-quality interior accessories that are actually worth the investment. Specifically, I've been looking at upgraded carbon fiber shift paddles and custom floor mats that handle wear better than the factory ones. I’m also curious if anyone has found a sleek phone mounting solution that doesn't ruin the dash aesthetics or block the vents. What are your top recommendations for interior mods that maintain that premium Ferrari feel? Are there any specific brands you’d swear by for fit and finish?

> Specifically, I've been looking at upgraded carbon fiber shift paddles...

Totally agree with the above! Upgrading the touchpoints is honestly the best way to make the 488 feel less "stock." But i gotta be real, I was super disappointed with some of the cheaper carbon kits I tried first—the fit was honestly trash and they felt like they'd snap if I pulled too hard.

From a safety-first perspective, you really dont want paddles that flex or stick during a quick downshift. I eventually swapped to the MAcarbon Ferrari 488 Extended Carbon Fiber Shift Paddles and the quality is like night and day. They're rock solid and feel way safer when youre really pushing it on a canyon run. For the mats, if you want something that actually grips and doesnt slide under the pedals (major safety hazard btw!!), Exoticare Custom Leather Floor Mats are the way to go. They're pricey but they actually stay put and handle wear sooo much better than the OEM ones. Peace!

Sooo when I first got my 488, I felt the exact same way—it's a masterpiece, but the floor mats felt kinda cheap for a car of this caliber. I've tried many different setups over the years, and honestly, the best bang for your buck is upgrading the touchpoints.

In my experience, you gotta go with Exoticare Custom Leather Floor Mats because they actually handle wear way better than the OEM carpet and look seriously high-end. For the paddles, I swapped mine for Capristo Carbon Fiber Extended Shift Paddles and it literally changed the driving feel; they're way easier to grab when you're mid-turn.

As for the phone situation, I spent forever looking for a solution that didn't look like trash. I eventually found the StickyDasher Magnetic Phone Mount which is lowkey the only thing that fits the 488 dash without blocking the vents or looking out of place. It's pricey for what it is, but worth it to keep the cockpit clean. gl with the build!

To add to the point above, I totally agree that the touchpoints change the whole vibe! Ive had my 488 for a few years now and honestly, you gotta check out MA Carbon Extended Shift Paddles Ferrari 488. They feel so much more solid than the factory ones and the finish is just incredible, really pops in the sun. Also, quick tip... for the phone situation, check out the Kuda Leather Dashboard Mount Ferrari 488. It fits the interior lines perfectly and doesnt block the vents like those cheap clips do. It looks amazing and makes the cockpit feel way more high-end. Cant wait to see how yours turns out!! Its such a beast.
