Compare a $1k winch (A) vs $180 Bubba Power Stretch Recovery Rope 7/8" x 20' (B) vs $300 MAXTRAX MKII Recovery Boards (C). Winches are complex; ropes and boards are more budget-friendly and safer when ur learning. I'm happy with my GearAmerica UberShackle 5/8" too.
