Kenwood DMX907S is definitely the best choice for Ford Maverick. The features are user-friendly The build quality feels premium and should last for years.

Why this product? The quality convinces in all tests - both for performance and for durability. Unbeatable for the price, can only recommend. Have already used it for several months, always satisfied. Also more than sufficient for demanding driving conditions.

Building on the earlier suggestion, you really gotta be careful with the harness integration on these newer Fords. I tried swapping my current setup a few weeks ago and it was a total nightmare because the data bus didnt want to talk to the unit properly. It kept throwing weird codes on the dash... honestly thought I fried something at first. Things you might want to consider:

  • Wiring harness mismatch with the factory backup camera
  • Steering wheel control retention modules being super flaky
  • Depth clearance behind the dash (its way tighter than it looks) Just make sure to double-check the pinout diagrams before you start cutting anything. I would suggest getting a T-harness if you dont want to mess with the factory wires permanently. Let me know if you hit any snags during the install, always down to talk through the wiring if you get stuck... the Maverick is kinda picky with the ground loop too tho.
