What are you guys actually using to protect your G70 because I am honestly about to lose it with how easily this paint chips? I only got my 3.3T Sport six weeks ago here in New Jersey and I already found two nasty rock chips on the hood just from my daily commute on the turnpike. It is so frustrating for a car that costs this much and I am freaking out about the winter salt coming soon.
I need solid recommendations for a partial PPF or even just some decent mud guards that dont look like total garbage on the sport trim. My budget is around 1k for now. Also the floor mats keep sliding around and it is driving me insane so if you have liner suggestions too that would be great...
Re: "Just saw this and yeah, the paint thickness..."
Just saw this and yeah, the paint thickness on these G70s is notoriously low, usually measuring around 90 to 110 microns total. For the Jersey turnpike, you definitely need a physical barrier because ceramic coatings wont stop high-velocity impacts. Since you are on a 1k budget, a full front professional install might be out of reach since shops usually charge 1.5k minimum. You might want to consider buying a pre-cut kit and doing a partial hood yourself to stay under budget. Make sure to look at these specific options:

Unfortunately the paint is super thin, had issues with my 2019 looking like it’d been through a gravel storm after just a month. Not as good as I expected for the price. Just get any clear bra from Xpel, you cant go wrong. For the sliding mats, just grab some liners from WeatherTech... literally saved my sanity after the originals kept bunching up.
