So I finally got my GV70 in that beautiful white leather interior about three weeks ago and honestly im already kinda regretting the color choice because of how much of a nightmare it is to keep clean. I love the car but the layout of the storage is driving me crazy like why is the center console just one giant deep pit where everything goes to die?? I can never find my keys or my wallet and its just becoming a mess in there and honestly im just fed up with digging around every time I need to find a parking pass.

Ive been looking at stuff online because my logic was that if I just get some better organizers itll solve the headache but there are so many random brands on amazon and im worried about getting something that looks cheap and ruins the luxury vibe of the cabin. I live out in the PNW where its raining constantly so the first thing I need is mats but the ones from the dealership are honestly trash and dont cover enough of the carpet near the pedals. My boots are already tracking mud onto the sides and its stressing me out.

Im also getting super frustrated with the piano black trim around the dial and the window switches. Its a total fingerprint magnet and I feel like I have to carry a microfiber cloth in my pocket just to keep it looking decent for more than ten minutes. I was thinking about some kind of wrap or a cover but again I dont want it to look tacky or like I tried too hard to mod it.

My budget is around 400 or 500 bucks to just get this interior sorted before I lose my mind and end up hating the car. I need suggestions for:

  • a decent center console tray that actually fits properly and doesnt rattle
  • floor mats that actually look high end like TuxMat or something similar
  • something to protect that massive infotainment screen because my kids keep smudging it
  • anything to hide or protect the piano black surfaces without looking like cheap plastic

Does anyone have specific brands that actually match the Genesis feel? I dont want to spend this much on a car just to put cheap rubber junk inside but I cant keep living with the clutter and the constant cleaning...

^ This. Also, for the mud situation, I've been super happy with TuxMat Genesis GV70 Custom Floor Mats. They cover way more than the OEM ones and actually look like they belong in a luxury cabin. For the piano black, I honestly just used some VViViD Black Matte Vinyl Wrap to cover the trim. It takes some patience to install but it totally kills the glare and hides fingerprints for good. No more constant wiping!

^ This. Also, I totally agree! Quick tip while I have a sec because I love this car:

I totally feel your pain with that white leather. I was terrified of staining mine the first week. You really might want to consider a ceramic coating specifically for leather because dye transfer from jeans is a slow killer. I used Gyeon Q2 LeatherShield 50ml Ceramic Coating and it saved me from a massive coffee spill last month. Be careful with those cheap console trays on Amazon tho, some of them are made of thin plastic that rattles like crazy. I would suggest the BestEvMod Center Console Organizer for Genesis GV70 because the fit is actually snug and it has those little rubber mats. For the PNW rain, you definitely want TuxMat Floor Mats for Genesis GV70. I tried the dealership ones and they were basically useless for mud. The TuxMats cover everything and look way more premium. Just make sure to tuck the clips in properly or they might pop out. For that piano black, I actually put a Spigen Glas.tR Slim Screen Protector for Genesis GV70 on the main display and it cut down the smudges significantly.

Re: "^ This. Also, for the mud situation, I've..." - jumping in here because your 500 dollar budget is actually pretty healthy if you are smart about it. So far the guys have pointed you toward ceramic coatings and TuxMats which are both top-tier. Honestly, those mats are worth every penny in the PNW. To save some cash on the other stuff, instead of a full wrap for the piano black, look into a precut Xpel Ultimate Plus Interior Paint Protection Film kit. It is way easier than diy wrapping and it is basically invisible. For the white leather, you dont strictly need a 100 dollar ceramic kit right away. Just keep a bottle of Chemical Guys Leather Quick Detailer Matte Finish in the trunk. It is cheap and takes off blue jean dye before it sets. Also, for the kids smudging the screen, I just keep a few The Rag Company Eagle Edgeless 500 Microfiber towels in the glovebox. It is a low-tech fix that saves you the cost of a screen protector if you just wipe it every other day... definitely keeps the luxury feel without the clutter.
