Hey everyone! I finally took the plunge and picked up a 2024 Genesis GV70 Sport Prestige in Matterhorn White last week. I absolutely love how this thing drives, but coming from a larger mid-size SUV, I’m finding the cargo area a bit challenging to manage. The sloped roofline looks amazing on the outside, but it definitely cuts into the vertical space, and I've already noticed my groceries sliding all over that nice carpet every time I take a corner.

I’m looking for some high-quality cargo management solutions that actually fit the premium vibe of the GV70. I don't want something cheap that’s going to rattle or look out of place in such a nice interior. I do a lot of different things on the weekends, so I need something versatile. Specifically, I am interested in:

  • A solid cargo mat that protects the floor but doesn't look like a piece of industrial plastic.
  • An organizer or net system that can hold smaller items like my golf shoes and detailing kit without them rolling around.
  • Advice on whether the official Genesis accessories are worth the premium price or if there are better aftermarket options like WeatherTech or TuxMat.

I’m particularly worried about scratching the side panels or the chrome loading sill because they look so pristine right now. If anyone has found a specific brand of collapsible bins or a custom-fit liner that covers the back of the seats when they're folded down, please let me know. I saw a few options on Amazon, but they all looked a bit flimsy for a luxury vehicle. I want to keep the trunk organized and protected without sacrificing the aesthetic.

Does anyone have specific recommendations for the best cargo management accessories that have worked well for your GV70 Sport?

Honestly, id go with the TuxMat Genesis GV70 Cargo Mat over the WeatherTech CargoLiner Custom Fit Trunk Mat. It has a much more refined look and better coverage for those side panels. For keeping things secure, the WeatherTech CargoTech Containment System is incredibly reliable. It prevents heavy items from shifting suddenly, which is a safety must. It costs more than generic bins, but it protects your chrome better.

Saw this earlier but just getting back to my desk. I went through a bit of a trial and error phase when I first got mine. I started with the Genesis GV70 Reversible Cargo Tray because I liked the idea of matching the carpet, but the rubber side didnt have enough grip for my golf gear and things still slid around. I eventually switched to the TuxMat Genesis GV70 Cargo Mat and honestly, it fits the luxury vibe much better than a standard mat. The TuxMat goes further up the side panels which really helps with those scratches you are worried about, and the material has a padded feel rather than that hard industrial plastic texture you get with some brands. For the chrome sill, I use a WeatherTech Bumper Protector that just rolls out when I am loading heavy bags. To keep everything organized, I picked up a Drive Auto Car Trunk Organizer with the tie-down straps. It stays perfectly still even when I am taking corners a bit too fast... definitely feels more secure than the official net.

Grab the Genuine Genesis GV70 Envelope Cargo Net for safety. Spent all morning cleaning my Matterhorn White paint, looks like a mirror now, but yeah.

Like someone mentioned, finding that balance between protection and aesthetics is key, and im honestly so happy with how some of these modern options look in the cabin. This whole discussion about brand quality reminds me of when my buddy first bought his luxury crossover. He was so torn between the official dealership accessories and the premium aftermarket stuff that he literally spent his entire vacation reading forums and watching review videos. He was convinced that one specific brand was the only way to go. Anyway, he finally orders the whole kit, but the delivery driver accidentally left the packages at his neighbors house while they were out of town for two weeks. By the time he finally tracked them down, his neighbor had already opened everything thinking it was a late birthday gift from their kids and tried to install it in their old minivan. It was such a mess trying to explain the situation... basically turned into a neighborhood drama that lasted the whole summer. Just goes to show how much we obsess over these details sometimes!

Congrats on the GV70, those specs are solid. I recommend custom-molded protection for that geometry. Are you prioritizing floor coverage or a modular divider system to manage shifting lateral loads?
