I just picked up my new GV70 and want to protect the interior before winter hits. I'm torn between the OEM Genesis mats and brands like TuxMat or WeatherTech. I need something with high edges for snow and mud that still matches the car's premium feel. Has anyone found a set that fits perfectly without sliding around?

Honestly, I was super disappointed with the OEM Genesis mats... they just don't have the coverage for real winter sludge. If you're looking for the best bang for your buck, I'd highkey suggest looking into Husky Liners.

* Way cheaper than those fancy boutique brands
* Literally indestructible material
* Deep channels for snow melt

I mean, TuxMat looks cool but they're pricey. For a solid budget-friendly alternative that still fits like a glove, Husky is the move imo. Good luck tho!

Sooo I've been reading through everyone's suggestions, and honestly, I've had a slightly different experience. Respectfully, I'd consider another option because I'm kinda obsessed with the safety aspect of floor mats. While those boutique brands look great, I'm always worried about the thick material interfering with the pedal travel or the clips popping loose over time.

I actually went through a scary moment in my old car where a thick mat bunched up, so when I got my GV70, I was super picky. I ended up going with Smartliner Custom Fit Floor Mats for Genesis GV70. They aren't as "plush" as the TuxMats mentioned earlier, but they're basically indestructible and the fit is literally perfect around the safety posts.

Here is why I think they're worth a look:
* The rigid material stays FLAT. No curling edges after a year of use.
* They use a thinner, high-density polyethylene that doesn't feel bulky under your feet.
* Super easy to spray down at the car wash without waiting hours for them to dry.
* Usually about $50-70 cheaper than the high-end "luxury" brands.

Idk, I guess it depends on if you want that living-room carpet feel or something that feels more like a rugged, safe utility liner. For me, knowing they wont move an inch near the gas pedal is a huge win. Plus, they look lowkey OEM anyway since they're just clean, matte black. gl with the new ride! 👍

Ok so, I went through this last year when I first got my GV70. Honestly, I'm super cautious about the safety clips and floor sensors, so I spent forever researching the technical fit. I eventually tried out the 3D MAXpider KAGU Series Floor Mats for Genesis GV70 and they've been solid.

Quick tips:
* Check that the driver-side mat doesn't interfere with the pedal travelβ€”some high-wall mats can actually be risky if they're too thick.
* Make sure the factory floor anchors click in perfectly to prevent any sliding during hard braking.

I'm honestly really satisfied with how they've held up through the slush without looking like cheap industrial rubber tbh.

Honestly, I was sooo excited when I got my GV70! For that premium vibe with insane protection, I totally recommend TuxMat All-Weather Floor Mats for Genesis GV70.

* Coverage is amazingβ€”they go way higher up the sides than WeatherTech.
* The material isn't rubbery or cheap feeling; it actually matches the interior.

I mean, they basically don't move at all cuz they use these little clips. Seriously, they're fantastic for snow!! Good luck with the new ride!

Just caught up on this thread and there is some really solid advice here. We have basically covered the spectrum from high-end luxury looks to pure utility and budget options. From a technical standpoint, I want to toss out a quick warning about the gas pedal clearance. Since the GV70 uses a floor-mounted organ-style pedal, you have to be extremely careful with high-wall mats. If the material is too stiff or does not have a precise cutout, it can actually interfere with the pedal stroke or trap debris right at the hinge. Also, look for mats made of TPE rather than cheaper PVC. TPE handles the thermal expansion and contraction way better, so the mat wont warp or lift off the floor pegs over time. TBH, the best mat is the one that stays locked into those factory retention hooks. If it slides even a millimeter, it is a no-go for me.
