Which all-weather floor mats fit best in the Genesis G80?

Hey everyone, I recently picked up a 2024 Genesis G80, and while I’m absolutely in love with the interior, those plush factory carpet mats are already giving me some serious anxiety! With the rainy season approaching and the inevitable mud and slush that comes with it, I really need to find a solid set of all-weather mats that won't ruin the high-end vibe of the cabin.

I’ve been doing some deep-dive research, but I’m torn between a few specific options. I looked at the official OEM Genesis rubber mats at the dealership, but I’m worried they don’t provide enough coverage around the dead pedal and the sides of the footwell. On the other hand, I’ve seen some G80 owners rave about TuxMat because of the edge-to-edge coverage, but I’m curious if they feel too bulky or "puffy" for a luxury sedan. I’ve also used WeatherTech in my old SUV, but I’m concerned their stiff plastic might look a bit too industrial against the G80's leather.

For those of you who have already swapped yours out, which brand offers the most precise, laser-measured fit without sliding around? Do you recommend sticking with the OEM ones for the logo, or is there an aftermarket brand that looks and performs better?

Sooo I actually had issues with WeatherTech FloorLiner years ago; they felt way too industrial. I tried the TuxMat Genesis G80 All-Weather Floor Mats for my G80 and they're much better. Unfortunately, those OEM ones aren't as good as expected for side coverage. Lesson learned: go for the edge-to-edge fit to keep that luxury vibe. They look premium and actually protect the carpet! I think they're worth it, maybe? gl!

So i actually went through this exact same dilemma when i got my G80 because i was terrified of salt stains ruining the plush floor. I tried a few different setups, but honestly, I think the 3D MAXpider KAGU Series All-Weather Custom Fit Floor Mats are probably the best middle ground for ur luxury interior. While TuxMat is great for coverage, I agree they can look a bit "sofa-like" in a sedan. The 3D MAXpider mats use a three-layer structure with XPE foam that iirc helps with sound dampening, so it actually complements the G80 cabin rather than looking like it belongs in a work truck. Technical-wise, you gotta be careful with fitment. These are laser-scanned to fit the G80 floor perfectly. I'm always super cautious about the mat bunching up near the accelerator—it's a HUGE safety risk—so I checked the clearance multiple times and ensured the retention clips were locked. The "Anti-Skid" backing grips the carpet without damaging the fibers like those cheap spikes do. Honestly, the OEM ones are decent for the logo, but they leave the dead pedal totally exposed. Lesson learned: high-end protection doesn't have to look industrial if you find the right materials. Peace.

Just sharing my experience: I compared Husky Liners WeatherBeater Floor Mats vs Lloyd Mats RubberTite Custom Mats. I've found Husky's locking nibs way safer—zero chance of pedal interference in my G80!!

Gonna try this over the weekend. Will report back if it works!

So, i've been looking into the specs of the G80 floor layout, and honestly, the dead pedal area is where most mats fail. From a technical standpoint, you want something with a high lip to catch liquids but without that industrial "truck" vibe. In my experience, I was really worried about the cost of the high-end brands because they can get super pricey for a full set. For my current setup, I actually went with a more affordable set I found online that looked like leather. It's basically a three-layer material that provides decent protection without looking like it belongs in a construction vehicle. It was WAY cheaper than the dealer options and honestly? It fits perfectly. It doesn't have the fancy logo, but for the price, the value is unbeatable. I mean, it depends on your needs, but saving $100+ while getting full coverage was a win for me. Just make sure whatever you get has the anchor clips so they dont slide!! Peace.
