Which phone mount works best in the Genesis GV70 cockpit?

I’m loving the GV70’s interior, but finding a spot for my phone is a struggle. The curved dash and those sleek air vents make standard clip-on mounts almost impossible to use. Has anyone found a MagSafe or suction mount that doesn't block the screen or ruin the aesthetic? Which specific brand or mounting location are you using?

Quick question—are you mostly looking for something that sits high up for navigation, or do you prefer it lowkey and out of the way?? Honestly, I've done some market research and tried both the Kuda Mount Genesis GV70 Leather Dashboard Mount and a Spigen MagFit Magnetic Phone Holder, but unfortunately, the dash shape is such a pain. Before I suggest one, do you have a Max-sized phone or just the regular one? It highkey makes a difference for the vent clearance lol.

Sooo I went through this last year. Basically, my biggest fear was a cheap mount failing and my phone hitting that expensive dash trim!! Safety is literally everything when you're driving something this nice, you know?

1. I started by looking for high-end magnetic bases from Scosche cuz they're known for solid grip.
2. Honestly, I just wanted something that wouldn't turn into a projectile if I hit a bump.
3. I ended up focusing on heavy-duty adhesive brands like 3M to secure a base behind the screen.

Just get any magnetic head from Scosche and you're good. It's highkey the safest way to keep the aesthetic clean without risking a crack! 👍

In my experience, you literally gotta check out ProClip for the GV70. I mean, the dash is basically a nightmare for those cheap $10 clips from Amazon, right?? I tried a few suction ones and they just looked tacky tbh. ProClip is the way to go because they make mounts specifically for our interior so it doesnt block that beautiful screen or mess up the leather. Its highkey the best investment cuz you just buy the base once and then swap the holder if you get a new phone later. Seriously, the build quality is fantastic!! Its way more stable than any vent mount I’ve used and looks almost factory. Just get any MagSafe compatible attachment they offer and youre good to go. It might cost a bit more upfront but the long-term value is totally there lol. Good luck with the new ride, the GV70 is amazing!!

So i almost cracked my vent using a clip... literally terrified!! I got the WeatherTech CupFone for stability. It keeps the dash pristine. Lesson learned: prioritize ur safety over aesthetics!!
