Just picked up a 2025 Ridgeline and I’m trying to protect the floors before the weather gets nasty. I’m mainly dealing with rain, road salt, and muddy boots, so I want something with high sidewalls that won’t slide around and fits the factory floor hooks. WeatherTech vs Husky vs OEM—what all-weather mats are you guys liking best for the 2025 Ridgeline?

- For your situation, I’d go with WeatherTech if you want the most consistent high sidewalls + solid retention on the factory hooks. I’ve run them through salt slush and muddy boots and they basically just hose off.
- I had issues with Husky shifting a bit in a previous truck (not as good as expected), so I’m cautious there… maybe it’s better now, idk.
- Honda OEM fits clean and looks nice, but imo the coverage isn’t always as deep as aftermarket. ngl I’d prioritize coverage over looks. good luck

Quick question — is ur 2025 Ridgeline the RTL/TrailSport w/ the rear floor hump, or the flatter rear floor? Fit can vary a bit.
Adding my 2 cents:
- WeatherTech: WeatherTech FloorLiner for 2025 Honda Ridgeline Front and Rear = highest sidewalls + super “click in” feel on the factory hooks. Great for salt slush, but can feel a little hard/plasticky.
- Husky: Husky Liners X-act Contour Floor Mats for 2025 Honda Ridgeline Front and Rear = softer/rubberier and quieter IMO. Sidewalls decent, but I’ve seen some people say edges curl over time (idk, depends).
- OEM: Honda Genuine All-Season Floor Mats for 2025 Honda Ridgeline = clean fit, but usually less coverage up the sides.
TL;DR: want max containment? WeatherTech. Want softer feel? Husky. Perfect factory look? OEM.

Yo +1 to what folks said about WeatherTech vs Husky—fit/retention is everything. Pro tip: hit the fitment pages on WeatherTech/Husky and cross-check reviews on Ridgeline Owners Club (ROC) for 2025-specific notes (rear floor shape, hook style, etc). Also, peep YouTube install vids to see sidewall height IRL… saved me from a wierd fit once. gl!

I actually did a "spill test" in my driveway with a pitcher of water just to see if the tray would actually hold it during a sharp turn... it’s wierd what we do to protect our stuff lol. What I learned from my testing is that high walls are only half the battle. If the material is too "plastic-y", your boots slide around like crazy when they’re wet, which feels reallyyy unsafe when you're trying to hit the brake. My current setup has a more matte, grippy finish that keeps my feet planted even when I'm covered in mud. I was also super cautious about the pedal clearance. I’ve seen some mats that look like they fit but actually get a bit too close to the accelerator for my comfort. I basically spent twenty minutes just clicking the hooks in and out to make sure they weren't going anywhere. Definately make sure whatever you get has that solid "click" on the factory posts, otherwise it's just not worth the risk tbh.

Ok so for budget + safety (no sliding around under pedals), I’d look at 3D MAXpider Kagu Floor Mats for 2025 Honda Ridgeline (Front and Rear) vs TuxMat Custom Floor Mats for 2025 Honda Ridgeline (Front and Rear). I had issues with cheaper “universal” mats in a different truck… they bunched up and that freaked me out, ngl.
3D MAXpider is usually like $180–$230 and grips the carpet SUPER well, plus the coverage is decent and cleanup’s easy. TuxMat is more $$ (around $240–$350) but the side coverage is honestly crazy good for salt/slush. If you want max protection without paying top dollar, I’d probably go 3D MAXpider, you know? gl!

Ok so, after dealing with a few different trucks over the years, the biggest headache I ran into with the 2025 refresh wasnt just the material, but the actual tolerance of the floor lock pins. I learned the hard way that even if a mat says it is laser-measured, small production variances in the molding can make the factory clips a nightmare to engage correctly. A few technical things I noticed when fitting my current setup:
- The clearance around the fuel door release lever is super tight on the 2025s and some designs can partially block the pull-up motion.
- If the material thickness is off by even a millimeter near the rear of the driver side, it can actually interfere with the seat rails if you keep your seat set low.
- Some designs dont account for the subtle change in the dead pedal angle from the early Gen 2 models. Basically, I spent way too much time messing with a previous set because the sidewall was just high enough to snag the door sill trim whenever the cabin got hot and the material expanded!!! Honestly, I eventually prioritized finding a set with a reinforced seal around the floor hooks, because salt always finds its way under the mat through those factory mounting points if they arent basically airtight.
