Hey everyone! I finally took delivery of my new Honda Prologue Elite in North Shore Pearl last week. I am absolutely loving the smooth ride and that instant torque, but now that the initial honeymoon phase is settling in, I am starting to get a bit nervous about keeping this beautiful interior pristine.
I live in an area where the weather can be pretty unpredictable, and with two young kids and a golden retriever, the light gray leather interior feels like a total magnet for dirt, mud, and scuffs. I have noticed the layout is quite a bit different from my old CR-V, especially with that open bridge-style center console and the specific placement of the wireless charging pad. I really want to protect my investment before it starts looking lived-in.
I have been looking into a few specific things but I am overwhelmed by the options:
I really want to keep the cabin looking as high-end as possible without cluttering it up with cheap-looking plastic. I have seen some generic stuff on Amazon, but I would much rather hear from people who actually own the car and know what fits right. What interior accessories have you guys found to be absolute must-haves for your Prologue so far?
Congrats on the Elite! I looked at the specs for floor mats. The Honda All-Season Floor High Wall Mats have perfect OEM fitment for that rear hump. Alternatively, the WeatherTech FloorLiner HP Custom Fit uses a high-density tri-extruded material that handles heavy mud and dog claws better. WeatherTech has superior laser-measured side wall height, though the Honda mats look way more integrated and factory-correct imo.
I agree with the mat suggestion, but honestly I'd suggest TuxMat Custom Car Mats for Honda Prologue for even better coverage. It's safer for the interior's long-term integrity. Also, check out the Spigen Glas.tR Slim Screen Protector for Honda Prologue. It uses tempered glass which is more thermally stable than plastic films, so it wont warp or bubble when the cabin gets hot in the sun.

Coming back to this, it is good we have covered the mats and screen protectors already. Honestly, the safety aspect is what worries me most with additions. My brother in law once bought these thick universal covers for his old SUV to keep it clean, but they actually blocked the seat airbags from deploying during a minor fender bender. It turned into a huge insurance nightmare and he was lucky nobody got hurt... just makes you think twice.
Reminds me of when my brother tried to DIY a console organizer using old shoeboxes... it looked okay for a day until his coffee spilled everywhere. It was honestly such a huge mess.
