I just got a new Santa Fe and I am so lost looking at all these parts online. I have a big road trip this Saturday to Oregon and I need to protect the inside before my toddlers and my dog destroy it lol. I only have about $200 left to spend after the car payment so I need the most important stuff first.
- floor mats that actually fit
- something to stop the dog from scratching the back
- maybe a trash can?
What brands are actually good? I keep seeing stuff on amazon but I dont want to buy junk that doesnt fit right. Sorry if this is a dumb question I just really dont know what I'm doing...

What specific model year is your Santa Fe? Fitment depends on your year.

@Reply #1 - good point! but unfortunately I had issues with those expensive mats warping after a few months. It was such a letdown. If you dont wanna blow your whole budget before the trip:
- YITAMOTOR Floor Mats for Hyundai Santa Fe are cheaper and actually stay flat.
- I prefer the iBuddy Dog Seat Cover with Mesh Window tho... lets the AC reach the pup better.
- Grab a Lusso Gear Waterproof Car Trash Can for the inevitable messes.

Honestly, with a $200 budget and a road trip coming up, you gotta be careful not to waste money on generic universal mats. They never fit right and the dog will just kick them around. I suggest going with Smartliner Custom Fit Floor Mats for Hyundai Santa Fe because they give you that laser-cut fit for way less than the big name brands. Make sure to get the set that matches your row configuration or it wont seal right. For the dog, you definitely need a heavy-duty cargo liner. I would suggest Vailge Dog Car Seat Cover for SUV Cargo Liner because it has side flaps to protect the plastic side panels from scratches. Be careful with those paper-thin Amazon ones, they rip instantly. Grab a Hotor Car Trash Can with Lid and Storage Pockets for the kids so you arent cleaning out gunk for weeks. It hangs on the headrest so it wont tip over.
