Picking up my white Ioniq 5 tomorrow morning and I'm panicking because I have messy kids and the light interior is gonna get trashed. I saw those center console trays and matte screen protectors online but people say they rattle or look blurry. What are the absolute must-have interior accessories I need to order today?

Look, i've had white interiors for years and the only way to stay sane with kids is a legit ceramic coating. I tried cheap stuff before—waste of time. Applying Gyeon Q2 LeatherShield 50ml is a life saver for denim dye and juice spills. TL;DR: Ceramic coat the seats before the kids get in. Chemical Guys InnerClean Interior Quick Detailer is also way better than generic wipes for the dash.

> I saw those center console trays and matte screen protectors online but people say they rattle or look blurry. Quick question, are your kids still in boosters or older? Might want to consider Enovoe Back Seat Kick Protectors 2 Pack first. Be careful with matte screen protectors tho. They look blurry. I would suggest Spigen Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Ioniq 5 because matte finishes often look grainy and wont be as sharp. For trays, get the BestEvMod Center Console Organizer for Ioniq 5 since the rubber liners stop rattling.

Congrats on the pickup tomorrow! Since you have kids and the light interior, you 100% need better floor mats. I went with the TuxMat Floor Mats for Hyundai Ioniq 5 and I'm honestly so happy with them. They cover basically all the carpeted areas up the sides, which is huge for spilled juice or muddy shoes. No complaints at all about the fit. About the console tray, I use the BestEvMod Center Console Organizer Tray for Ioniq 5 and it works well for holding sunglasses and coins. If you're worried about it rattling, just stick some small felt pads on the underside. Its a simple fix that makes that giant center gap actually usable. Those two items are the only things I'd consider mandatory for day one.

Regarding what #1 said about mats, it's solid. Are your kids in boosters? My white seats survived because:

To add to the point above: honestly its ridiculous how much we pay for these cars just for the interior to be a magnet for stains! Companies really dont care about families, it drives me crazy how pricey gear is getting. Total scam!

  • insane accessory markups
  • cheap materials Quick question tho—are your kids still in the spilling juice stage or just mud? I want to help because this car is amazing!
