I recently picked up a new Infiniti QX50 and I’m loving the interior, but the stock rubber pedals feel a bit plain compared to the rest of the cabin. I’m really looking to upgrade to some high-quality aluminum pedal covers to give the driver’s footwell a sportier, more premium look. I’ve seen some universal sets online, but I’m worried about the fitment and whether they’ll require drilling into the metal. Does anyone have experience with specific brands that offer a perfect, no-drill fit for the QX50? I'm specifically looking for something with good rubber grips so they aren't slippery when my shoes are wet. Which brands or specific kits would you recommend for the best durability and style?

In my experience, you're right to be cautious about the "universal" stuff. Over the years, I've seen cheap sets slip right off the brake arm—definitely not something you want happening in traffic! For a budget-friendly but safe upgrade, I recommend comparing these two:

* KAX No-Drill Aluminum Pedal Covers for Infiniti QX50: These are great for value. They use a thick rubber backing that wraps tight around the pedals. Very secure, though the rubber studs are a bit stiffer.
* Cool-Shark Aluminum Anti-Slip Pedal Covers for Infiniti: These usually cost a few bucks more, but the rubber grips are slightly softer and feel better underfoot when it's raining outside.

I've tried many over the years, and honestly, the key is using a blow dryer to soften the rubber before install. It makes getting that lip over the metal plate much easier. If they feel even slightly loose, don't risk it—take them off. Safety first! Hope this helps!

Hi there, and congrats on the new QX50! I totally get the struggle with those plain rubber pedals. For your situation, I would suggest looking at the Infiniti OEM Sport Pedal Kit if you can find them, but honestly, I had a great experience with the GZXY No-Drill Aluminum Foot Pedal Covers for Infiniti QX50. They slip right over the metal and the rubber grips are seriously solid, even in rain. Just make sure to warm them up first so they stretch easier! 🚗

Seconding the recommendation above! Honestly, those OEM-style pedals make such a huge difference. I'm still a bit of a newbie when it comes to modding my interior, but I recently installed a set of Kust No-Drill Aluminum Pedal Covers for Infiniti QX50 and I'm seriously happy with how they turned out.

I was really worried about them slipping when it rains, but the rubber studs on these are actually quite grippy—I haven't had my foot slip once! Installation was pretty straightforward too, though the brake pedal cover can be a bit of a squeeze to get over the metal lip. Just gotta be patient with it! If you want a slightly different look, I've also heard good things about the Cool-Shark Non-Slip Aluminum Performance Pedal Set. Both are great no-drill options that feel way more premium than the stock rubber. Good luck with the upgrade!
