It's affordable, handles the full 11kW load, and has a great app. Here's how I see the options for the wallbox: Option A (Budget/Simple): Grizzl-E Classic Level 2 EV Charger 40 Amp. It's literally built like a tank and weather-rated like crazy. No smart features tho, so you'd rely 100% on the Jaguar Remote app for scheduling. Costs around $350. Option B (The Value King): Emporia Level 2 EV Charger 48 Amp. This is what I went with. It's usually under $450 and gives you 48 amps, which maxes out that 11kW onboard charger perfectly (you need 48A to hit 11kW on a single-phase US home setup). The app is actually better than the Jag one for tracking costs tbh.

• Option C (Premium): The ChargePoint Home Flex Level 2 EV Charger 50 Amp mentioned earlier is nice but highkey overpriced compared to Emporia imo. For the public charging cable, you HAVE to get a 3-phase one if you want that 11kW speed at public AC posts. • Make sure the cable is at least 5 or 7 meters long so you dont have to park perfectly every time. Are you planning on doing the mounting yourself or hiring someone??? Honestly the physical mounting seems easy but the wiring part looks pretty intense lol.
