My new GC 4xe interior is already a mess because the factory mats suck and the piano black trim is scratching just by looking at it. Im torn between the WeatherTech liners or the OEM Mopar ones but my budget is strictly under $200 so maybe those cheap Amazon clones are better? Which ones actually fit tight?

In my experience, material specs for liners actually matter for long-term warping. Ive tried many brands over the years and found that high-density thermoplastic polyolefin holds its shape better than cheap rubber. My journey with generic stuff usually ends in curled edges after one summer.

Under $200 is totally doable if you skip the big names.
- Lasfit All-Weather TPE Floor Mats for Jeep Grand Cherokee WL fit tighter than Mopar and cost way less than WeatherTech... basically the same quality.
- Use VViViD Clear Gloss PPF Film for the piano black trim. Its a cheap DIY fix that stops the scratching.
- Amazon clones work fine as long as they are TPE material, dont buy the hard plastic ones.

Ive been running the Rough Country Floor Armor All-Weather Floor Mats Jeep Grand Cherokee WL for a few months now and honestly theyre solid for the price. Fit is super tight and they dont slide around like the cheapo generic ones. For that annoying piano black, try the Muslogy for Jeep Grand Cherokee Center Console Cover Protector.
