Just got my Rubicon and I have been staring at my bank account wondering what to buy first for these desert runs. Its honestly overwhelming trying to figure out what is actually necessary for safety versus just looking cool. In my experience, going cheap always costs more later. I have been comparing a few safety options for my own build:

• Bubba Rope Renegade Recovery Rope 19000 lbs: the kinetic stretch is smoother than a stiff tow strap. I have seen cheap ones snap and its scary.
• Factor 55 HitchLink 2.0 Receiver Shackle Mount: I have tried many versions but this is way safer than using a tow ball.
• Element E50 Fire Extinguisher Professional Series: tiny and doesnt expire like bulky dry chem tanks. Ngl I am still torn on what to actually pull the trigger on... its a struggle.
