Hey everyone! I recently picked up a Gladiator Mojave and I’m planning to tow a 4,500 lb travel trailer this summer. Since the Mojave has that specialized Fox 2.5 internal bypass suspension meant for desert running, I’m a bit worried about rear-end sag compared to the Rubicon or Max Tow models. I’m definitely looking for a solid brake controller—maybe the Redarc Tow-Pro?—and a reliable weight distribution hitch that won't mess with the ride quality too much. I want to make sure I’m staying safe without compromising the truck's unique feel. Does anyone have experience towing with this specific trim? What’s the best hitch and wiring setup you've found to handle the Mojave's height and suspension?

Totally agree with the above! That Redarc is clean, but if ur watching the budget, the Tekonsha P3 Electronic Brake Control is a pro-tier alternative for around $120. To handle that Mojave rear-end sag without breaking the bank, maybe consider adding Daystar Airbag Cradle with some helper bags. It's a much cheaper fix than new springs and actually preserves that Fox bypass feel when youre not towing. Seriously a lifesaver!!

I’m looking at CURT 17062 MV Weight Distribution Hitch (cheaper) vs Eaz-Lift 48058 Elite (better sway control). Both seem like okay budget options... idk tho!

Sooo for your situation, I’ve towed with my Mojave and safety is priority one. Here's what I recommend: - Go with a Redarc brake controller, they're super reliable and look factory.
- Look at any weight distribution hitch from Blue Ox, it’s a total game changer for that rear sag.
- Honestly, just be careful with tongue weight cuz those shocks are pretty soft... maybe get a pro install for ur setup. gl!
