I just took delivery of my new Kia EV6 last week and I’m absolutely loving the ride, but I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the charging options out there. I’m looking to set up a reliable Level 2 home station—preferably something UL-listed that plays nice with the EV6’s charging speeds. I’m also curious if any of you carry specific portable gear for road trips, like a Tesla to J1772 adapter or a heavy-duty extension cord for emergencies. Also, since this car has such cool V2L capabilities, are there any specific adapters you recommend for camping? I want to invest in high-quality gear that won't let me down. What specific charging accessories have been total game-changers for your EV6 setup?

oh man, congrats on the ride!! I totally get the feeling... that first week is SO exciting but lowkey overwhelming with all the gear choices. I've tried many setups and here's basically what I recommend:

1. For your home setup, I'd realy go with the ChargePoint Home Flex Level 2 EV Charger. It’s UL-listed and handles the EV6 speeds like a champ.
2. On the road, you gotta have the Lectron Tesla to J1772 Charging Adapter (48 Amp) for hotel chargers and the Lectron V2L Adapter for Kia EV6 for camping.

Ngl, having the V2L adapter is a total game-changer for coffee makers! Just dont go cheap on the extension cord... maybe get a Iron Forge Cable 25 Ft 10/3 Heavy Duty Extension Cord just in case? Tbh, I'd start with the home station first and see what ur needs are. How's the range treating you so far?? gl! 👍
