I’m so excited to finally have my Kia EV9 in the driveway! It’s such a tech-forward beast, but I’ve quickly realized that the cabin has a lot of open storage space that could get messy fast. I’m specifically looking for a solid center console organizer because that deep bin is already becoming a black hole for my keys and charging cables. Also, with kids and pets frequently in the back, are there specific floor mats or seat protectors you recommend that fit the unique floor layout perfectly? I want to keep the interior looking pristine without sacrificing functionality. What are the 'must-have' interior accessories you guys have found to really level up the EV9 experience?

Respectfully, I'd consider another option when it comes to that center console. I know Reply #1 likes the rubberized inserts, but i think those actually get super gross with hair and dust over time... and they're kinda hard to keep looking 'pristine' like ur wanting.

After years of tweaking my car interiors (and learning the hard way), I've realized that sometimes the 'heavy-duty' stuff is overkill. Here’s my take on the best way to handle the EV9's cavernous space without breaking the bank:

1. **The 'Industrial' vs. 'Premium' Floor Mats**: Everyone jumps for WeatherTech FloorLiner for Kia EV9, but they honestly feel a bit like a work truck. I’d suggest **TuxMat Floor Mats for Kia EV9** instead. They cover way more carpet area and have a much more refined look that matches the EV9's techy interior better, plus they’re easier to wipe down.

2. **Console Organization**: You dont need to spend 50 bucks here. The **BestEvMod Center Console Organizer Tray for Kia EV9** is a great budget-friendly pick compared to some higher-end brands. It fits perfectly and includes a little slot for ur charging cables so they dont get pinched when you close the lid—something I forgot to check on my last car and it was a mess.

3. **Seat Protection**: For the kids and pets, I wouldn't bother with EV9-specific protectors. I've used the **Lusso Gear Car Seat Protector** for about 5 years across 3 different vehicles and it’s basically indestructible. It’s cheap, thick, and saves ur leather from those nasty car seat indentations.

I guess I’m just cautious about over-accessorizing with cheap plastic that might rattle. Be careful with those 'no-name' bins on Amazon because the fit can be hit or miss. Anyway, gl with the new beast! it's a gorgeous ride lol. 👍

So i recommend getting a rubberized console insert and heavy-duty mats that lock in. Honestly, I unfortunately bought a flimsy organizer first that scratched the interior and rattled constantly—not as good as expected at all. Also, be careful with cheap floor mats; the ones i tried kept sliding near the pedals which is seriously sketchy. Stick to high-end ones that actually anchor properly... safety first i guess!

I've been through way too many SUVs over the last decade and learned that going straight to the dealer for official accessories is usually a wallet drain. For my EV9, I skipped the basic rubber mats and went with TuxMat Floor Mats for Kia EV9 3-Row. They cover way more surface area than the stuff you see at the dealership, which is a lifesaver when you've got kids tracking in mud or dropping fries. They look way more premium too. Regarding the black hole console... i actually think people overthink this. Instead of a custom plastic tray that's hard to clean, I just use a small soft-sided felt bin in the bottom pass-through area. It's way cheaper and doesn't make that annoying clicking sound when stuff slides around while you're cornering. One thing people always forget is that massive screen. Since it's a touch interface, it gets greasy fast. I'd definitely suggest the Spigen Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Kia EV9 Panoramic Display. It keeps the glare down and protects against accidental scratches from rings or toys. It's one of those things you dont think you need until you see a permanent scratch right in your line of sight. Simple and functional is always the way to go imo.
