Best trunk organizer for groceries in a Lexus UX 300e?

I’ve been loving my new UX 300e, but the trunk space is a bit of a puzzle when it comes to grocery runs! Since the floor is slightly higher due to the battery, my reusable bags keep sliding around and spilling oranges everywhere every time I take a corner. I’m looking for a sturdy organizer that fits perfectly without blocking the charging cable storage underneath. Does anyone have recommendations for a specific brand or model that fits the UX’s unique dimensions well? I’m hoping for something with non-slip grips or straps to keep it secure on the trunk carpet. What are you guys using to keep your shopping organized and upright in your UX?

For your situation, I'd look at these two. Safety is huge because that high floor makes things slide FAST if you brake hard.

1. Starling's Car Trunk Organizer Adjustable Straps Heavy Duty - I like this cuz it has tie-down straps to keep it from flying forward. Very sturdy for the price, maybe $40?
2. Drive Auto Products Car Trunk Organizer with Straps - Kinda similar but cheaper.

Both keep the floor clear for your cables. Honestly, the Starling's feels safer tbh. 👍

Honestly, I feel u on the trunk situation. I've had some issues with the UX 300e's shallow floor... it's like Lexus didn't realize oranges literally roll everywhere lol. I initially tried a cheap generic bin, but it was not as good as expected and just slid around on the carpet. For your situation, I'd suggest the Fortem Car Trunk Organizer with Reinforced Handles and Non-Slip Bottom. I bought it cuz it has these velcro strips on the bottom that actually grip the carpet properly.

Unfortunately, the trunk is sooo small that most large organizers block the charging cable floor, but this one is collapsible so you can just use one section. It keeps my groceries upright even when I'm taking corners a bit too fast. Ngl, it's basically the only way to stay organized with that high battery floor... just gotta be careful not to overstuff it cuz the height is limited! gl! 👍

Honestly, I feel your pain with those rolling oranges! Since the UX 300e has that elevated floor to clear the battery pack, you really gotta be careful about weight distribution and *safety* so things don't fly forward if you hit the brakes. To make sure I give you the best technical advice for that shallow trunk depth:

1. Are you looking for something that's basically semi-permanent and heavy-duty, or do you need a collapsible option that you can fold flat when you're not hauling groceries?
2. What's the height of your tallest reusable bags? I want to make sure the walls of whatever you get are high enough to actually keep them upright without tipping over the edge.

Basically, getting the center of gravity right in that small space is key. Idk your budget yet, but let me know those details and I can suggest the right specs! 👍

Ok so reading through, it seems like most people are leaning towards those heavy-duty bins with straps or velcro. While those are great, i'm more of a DIY enthusiast and usually prefer using what the car already has rather than adding more bulk to an already tiny trunk. If youre going the self-service route like me, just be careful with a few things:
* Avoid hard plastic bins that arent anchored; they slide and will scratch the heck out of your plastic side panels.
* Dont go too heavy with velcro on that elevated floor—the UX 300e liner is a bit thinner than the standard UX and can get pretty fuzzy or even pull loose if you’re ripping velcro off it every day.
* Watch the height! Since the floor is already high, if your DIY setup is too tall, it blocks your rear view way faster than in a normal SUV. I personally just use some short bungee cords through the factory D-rings to keep my reusable bags pinned against the back seat. Its way cheaper and honestly more flexible when you need to get to the charging cables fast.
