Which dash cam fits best in a Lexus EV?

I recently picked up a Lexus RZ and want a dash cam that looks integrated without messy wires. I'm worried about the power draw on the EV battery and whether to use a mirror tap or the fuse box. Does anyone have a recommendation for a sleek 4K model that fits the Lexus interior aesthetic?

Respectfully, I'd consider another option besides the mirror tap. I mean, it looks cool, but I was sooo worried about frying my Lexus electronics! I went with a fuse box install for my setup instead cuz it feels way safer for the car's long-term health. Honestly, having that dedicated power line gives me peace of mind that I won't drain the EV battery or cause a short. Plus, it's basically invisible if you tuck the wires right!

Oh man, I totally feel u on this! When I got my RZ, I was basically obsessed with keeping that clean cabin look. So, I went with a Fitcamx model because it literally replaces the plastic shell behind the mirror. It looks stock! I'm not 100% sure about the power draw tbh, but iirc, it taps right into the rain sensor, so no messy wires at all. It's been amazing so far, honestly! 👍

Just sharing my experience: I went through this last year and was *super* worried about costs. I ended up getting the VIOFO A229 Pro 4K Dash Cam because it's way more affordable than those high-end boutique brands. I honestly just used a mirror tap and it's been perfect. The power draw is basically nothing and I'm pretty happy I didn't pay for a pro install.

Sooo I've been messing with Lexus setups for years and honestly, I think using a mirror tap is the way to go? Not 100% sure but IIRC it's way cleaner than the fuse box.

- Mirror taps are basically invisible
- Power draw is lowkey negligible on the EV battery
- 4K is nice but check the heat ratings!!

I mean, I kinda struggled with the RZ wiring at first but it works out fine eventually lol.
