Hey everyone! I just finally took delivery of my new Lexus NX 450h+ and I am absolutely in love with the cabin design, especially that massive 14-inch touchscreen. However, now that the 'new car' honeymoon phase is settling in, I’m realizing I need some practical accessories to keep everything looking pristine and organized. Since it’s such a premium interior, I really want to avoid cheap, generic stuff that doesn’t fit the aesthetic.
I’m specifically looking for recommendations on a few things. First, has anyone found a high-quality screen protector for that huge infotainment display? It’s a total fingerprint magnet and I’m worried about micro-scratches over time. Also, the center console is surprisingly deep but lacks organization—are there any specific divider trays that fit the PHEV model perfectly? Lastly, I’m torn between the official Lexus all-weather liners and something like TuxMat for the floor. I want something that looks classy but can handle muddy shoes after a hike.
I'm willing to spend a bit more for a perfect 'factory' fit rather than saving a few bucks on something bulky. What are the must-have interior accessories you’ve added to your NX PHEV that you think are actually worth the investment?
idk much but screens scratch easy so i got the Spigen Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Lexus NX 14-inch... also TuxMat for Lexus NX 450h+ basically covers more side carpet than OEM, right?

Honestly, I went through this last year cuz I was so paranoid about keeping that interior MINT. For the screen, I actually hesitated on those glass ones mentioned earlier because I was worried about glare—like, if you're driving and the sun hits it wrong, it can be legit blinding. I ended up trying a matte-finish film instead. It's not as "invisible" as glass but the safety factor is way better imo since it cuts reflections entirely. Regarding the console, I bought a cheap tray at first and it was a total disaster—it rattled and actually slid around when I took sharp corners. Safety-wise, you don't want loose bits shifting while you're driving, it's sooo distracting. I eventually found a soft-touch silicone organizer that stays put. It basically transformed that "black hole" of a console into something useful without any wierd noises. But yeah, quick question though... are you planning on having kids or pets in the back often?? And do you prefer a "grip" texture on your mats, or do you want something super smooth that's easier to hose off? Asking cuz the material choice really changes how safe they feel when your feet are wet after a hike... you dont want your heels slipping while trying to hit the brakes! anyway, hope that helps! peace 👍
Respectfully, I'd consider another option before you buy a screen protector. In my experience, those glass covers can sometimes mess with the touch sensitivity or add a weird glare... which is kinda annoying on such a nice screen. Honestly, I've found that just keeping a The Rag Company Eagle Edgeless 500 Microfiber Towel in the console is way better for quick wipe-downs and saves you a bunch of money. Also, I'm a bit cautious about 3rd party mats like TuxMat... I'd stick with the Lexus NX 450h+ All-Weather Floor Liners PT908-78220-02 because they're designed for the safety clips and usually cost less if you shop around online. Better to be safe and save some cash tho! Hope that helps... good luck with the new ride! Cheers.
