Best license plate frames to match Lincoln's chrome trim?

I just picked up a new Navigator and I’m absolutely loving the look, but the dealer’s plastic frame is really bringing down the vibe. I want something that perfectly complements Lincoln’s specific chrome finish—not something that looks like cheap, shiny plastic. I’m looking for a high-quality stainless steel or polished chrome frame that won’t rust or pit after one winter. I’ve seen some slimline styles and others with the Lincoln logo, but I’m worried about the color match. Does anyone have a specific brand they swear by that matches the OEM trim perfectly? I’m willing to spend a bit more for a premium look that lasts. Any recommendations for a clean, sophisticated frame?

I totally get your struggle, honestly. For your Navigator, I would suggest going with the WeatherTech 60039 ClearFrame Plate Frame in Chrome. It's a solid zinc alloy frame that's triple-plated so it basically matches the OEM trim perfectly without looking like that tacky aftermarket stuff. If you want something even more high-end, check out the A-Premium Chrome Plated Stainless Steel License Plate Frame. It’s super durable and wont rust after a nasty winter. Good luck!!

Basically, for a premium Navigator, you gotta prioritize safety and reliability... cuz the last thing you want is a cheap frame falling off or blocking your safety sensors!! I really love the AeroShield Mirror Chrome Stainless Steel License Plate Frame because it matches the OEM finish perfectly and highkey feels more secure than the thin ones. Honestly, if you're worried about longevity, Tuff 400 Series Polished Stainless Steel Heavy Duty Frame is another amazing option because it's super sturdy and won't rust out after a salty winter. Both are way better than the dealer plastic, but I'd go with the AeroShield for the best color match tho. gl!

Oh man, I totally feel u on this! I just got a Navigator too and the first thing I did was rip off that ugly dealer plastic. It literally ruins the whole vibe of the front end, you know? I was super worried about the chrome matching cuz Lincoln has that specific satin-meets-polished look that's hard to nail.

Sooo, I did a bunch of research and ended up grabbing the WeatherTech 8ALP36 Stainless Steel License Plate Frame. Honestly, it is AMAZING. It's solid 304 stainless steel so it wont rust or pit even if you live somewhere with nasty winters like I do. The finish is sooo clean and it looks highkey expensive without being flashy. I think I paid around $35-40 for it? Which is basically a steal for the quality you get tbh.

If you really want that OEM look with the branding, I also checked out the Lincoln Slimline Polished Stainless Steel License Plate Frame with Logo. It's officially licensed so the logo is perfect, but I kinda preferred the clean look of the WeatherTech one myself. But yeah, definitely stick to polished stainless steel instead of chrome-plated plastic or even chrome-plated zinc. Those cheap ones will start peeling and looking weird after a few car washes... mood killer for sure!!

Anyway, it's a super easy fix and totally transforms the look. Gl with the new ride! 👍
